Kamloops Dunes ... better then the movie
I’m a tourist. So take my opinion with a grain of salt. I played the whites which enough of a test.
This course is right in front of you., nothing tricked up and eminently playable. Reading the wind was key, as it shifted throughout the afternoon. Played behind a very serious ladies 4 ball, who were delightful.
Greens in great shape, rolling really nice. Fairways and intermediate rough a little shaggy, but given all the precipitation lately, better than expected.
Bunkers on the front nine need some attention. The sand on the back was in much better shape.
Would play again if we had time.

Disappointed
Booked on golfnow a show have done many times in the past. Got there and there are no carts to
Rent and it is extremely hot out. I have very bad arthritis so this certainly was not a good situation
For me. The older woman at the check-in counter was not very pleasant, in fact quite rude. If you
Need to have a reservation for a cart it should tell you somewhere on golfnow so you can do so.
We called in for a cart on number 6 and reserved one. Now, again being rude she tells us we could
Only take this certain cart in the clean line-up . We load up but this cart is full of gravel & mud Andrew has liquid spilled all over the dash area. I went in and told her the cart was not clean then she got
Annoyed and said we had to move our things now to another cart because she couldn't let us have
That one, now all this time our friends are waiting for us on the 10th tee-box. In short we were not
Impressed with the whole experience, you better get your act together.
Nice Course!
Played 18 holes (mostly in the rain). Course was in great shape. Beautiful wildflowers and scenery . Would recommend a Marshall as group 2 in front if us were extremely slow. Skipped in front if them on hole 9. Played 2 balls to make up missed holes. Chicken wings were delish in clubhouse afterward.

The DUNES Kamloops
One of the funnest courses I have played to date. Very open fairways great greens would recommend playing in your in the Kamloops area!

Great value golf!
I always enjoy playing at the Dunes, and they regularly have competitive rates for what the course offers. The clubhouse was COVID closed, but it was only a minor inconvenience. This course has done an incredible job at maintaining high level conditions despite renovations and construction. They boast the best greens in the area without paying over $100 a round. Great for golfers of all levels, but bring balls. The water and fescue claim a few each round.

Playing during pandemic
Amenities were all closed of no fault to the course but due to pandemic.
Course could of used a filler on the holes on the greens, so the golf ball doesn't fall so deep and is easier to recover and lowers the risk of touching the hole where someone else might of touched.

The course was in nice shape.Although there was a problem with comunication between them and Golfnow as a result we had to tee off half an hour later than expected and we have recieved our 15 dollar promo code we were promissed by GolfNow. TEE15TIMES
