Fun course
Fairways and green are better than last year. Very fun course to play. Love the course layout. But if they can Do better condition that will be great.
Newlands
Good course greens on some holes are horrible. 0 Marshall’s to speed up the pace of play. 9th holes food and drink shack closes really early. Not worth the $45 twilight round.
Good place to practice
The golf course has nice narrow fairways and small putting greens which makes it challenging. However the golf course layout is quite confusing. It could have been laid out properly like other holes can be adjusted in terms of difficulty level. Restaurant??? Oh my is another issue. It was close at 11 am. Obviously it doesn't cater to people playing early in the morning. It was so difficult looking for the restaurant. I hope they can address those issues soon. Otherwise it's a good small golf course.
This course is very good long fairways
The only thing I would say there was no drink cart coming around it was very hot out and we could have use some cold water . The last 4 holes were tough only because of the heat and having not water cart…
Good round
Always enjoy the course. Father’s Day was a little slower than usual. Couple of the greens need a little bit of work. Other than that it was a good day.
Dissapointing
It's been a little while since I've played here and I guess with a few of the other nearby courses being shut down from the pipeline we've lowered the bar of excellence. With little competition, Newlands knows you'll pay regardless of the course conditions. Most of the fairways were ok (6.5 or 7/10) and tee boxes were in pretty good shape (8.5/10), however, at least 4 greens were concerningly bad (2/10) like raw dirt sod 4ftx8ft patches bad. The rest were good not great (7/10). I ended up in 2 bunkers, first had no sand (not hard sand, no sand at all, I bounced the club off some hard pan underneath) and the second bunker was good the sand was just wet which is no fault of the course. The carts are beautiful and the course was clean but I could not believe spending $60 and putting over dirt patches. A great, fun, challenging track that just needs some TLC.

Course was awesome but nearly half of the greens felt like a public pitch and putt course, not a championship course. Should’ve been given a discount for how bad they were. Other than that was a fun course to play
Little wet, greens need to heal!
Was decent for the value, the course is a little wet as the rain has not stopped for a few weeks! This course will be ready to play again in a couple weeks!
