Great views and challenging.
It was Awesome. It got jammed on the 12. We were waiting for 3 groups. Other then that. Great course
Quirky Little Place
Played this course as a single and was paired with a three some. That was fine and am always thankful when I can book as a single. It was a perfect day in BC. The fairways were in decent shape. Tee boxes not so much. Greens were in great shape, but furry and slow. There were a few holes I simply didn’t like. One in particular, a short par four (13 or 14) that was perhaps the narrowest hole I have ever seen. It looked like 1/2 hole. This is a place you have to play a bit to get used to what it is. Quirky. The value was great and worth the drive from North Van. I also know that the food facilities at this place are top notch
The day was perfect. The course was quite brown, but it has been a hot summer. The greens were good.. All the staff ate great. The only bad thing was the foursome ahead of us. They all waited till one shot then the next would walk to there ball and hit. They all stood around and watched each others shot. It took us five hours to play.
Horrible Fairways
Greens were pretty good. Rest of the course was really poor. Pace was slow and nobody out there on a Saturday to help speed up. Tee boxes were hard as a Rick and dry - fairways were horrible. Don’t believe they have watered them at all this year. Has the potential to be a far nicer course with a bit of upkeep.
Too slow
The course was far too slow. No Marshall on duty to speed up some very slow groups. The round was over 5 hours, which is very slow for that course.
pretty good
Right in between a 3 star and 4 star review but I'm going with 3 because I've never been a fan of this layout. Conditions were closer to a four although it was late in the day and the greens were a little slow and grainy. Can't complain about the price but we were behind an earlier tournament so it was understandably slow.
Difficult for beginners
This is probably about 10th golf course I've ever been to. It was the most difficult one I've done.
On the same day, there were many 4-somes and it took about 3 hours to get through front nine.
slow play
We were backed up3/4 deep at a few different tee boxes. We ended up joking with a 3 some to play out the last 5 holes that’s how bad it was. A couple groups behind us left. Other than that it is a fun course and good value for the money.
