Large bunkering is an element that makes Willowbrook GC more difficult than most layouts. Here is a greenside trap at hole one (par-5, 501 yards). Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/26/2025

The tee shot at the fifth, a fine par-3 of 124 yards, must carry a water hazard and a pair of bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/26/2025

The seventh green, like many holes at Willowbrook, sits upon a mound and is guarded by a single, large bunker. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/26/2025

Fun day
Nice day to play golf. Coarse was good for the price. It was slow but I played by myself so to be expected.
Great course.
We had a wonderful afternoon golfing at Willowbrook. The course conditions were great with just a bit of standing water after the rain from the day before.
This a great relaxing course to play on.
Highly recommend.
Good value
Friendly staff, slow greens, great pace of play, carts seemed old, good value
COOL BUT WARMED
I HAVE PLAYED THIS COURSE BEFORE..I DID NOT GIVE IT A 5 DUE TO THE POOR CONDITION OF THE CART PATHS..MANY PLACES WERE ERODED AND VERY ROUGH..FAIRWAYS WERE DECENT BUT STILL IN NEED OF MORE SUN AND RAIN FOR THE GRASS TO IMPROVE..GREENS WERE IN GREAT SHAPE, REALLY NICE SHAPE..COURSE CAN BE CHALLENGING WITH THE TREES, DITCHES, AND WATER HAZARDS, BUT DEFINITELY FUN AND CHALLENGING..
Willow Brook
Nice course. Challenging layout from the blue tees. Greens we ok, fast, but a lot of players not fixing marks.
Nice Day
I HAVE PLAYED THIS COURSE BEFORE, AND I HOPE TO PLAY IT AGAIN WHILE HERE. GREENS WERE IN VERY GOOD SHAPE..STILL EARLY SO NOT A LOT OF GRASS ON THE FAIRWAYS, BUT STILL PLAYABLE..OVERALL, A MOST EXCELLENT DAY ON THE COURSE..ONLY MINOR ISSUE IS THE CART PATHS...THEY COULD USE QUITE A BIT OF UPDATING AND REPLACEMENT..SOME R PRETTY ROUGH AND RATTY IN PLACES...THE ONLY REASON I GAVE IT 4 STARS WAS BECAUSE OF THE CART PATHS.
Great improvement
It's been 15 years since I last played here and I can assure you back then the place was a complete train crash. Forward to now....... The course has improved beyond recognition. The staff were very engaging and buying into the new owners efforts to improve in every area.
The course has always been a good layout but with improvements (beyond recognition) to the tees, fairways and greens, it makes it a fun and enjoyable experience to play.
Yes there is still work to do (some cart paths and the clubhouse) but Rome wasn't built in a day and I'm confident that those areas, in the fullness of time, will be addressed by the owners.
The only real negative for me was not seeing our old friend, the three legged gator!! I'm told he's still around.
