Cypresswoods
Course hasn't been very good, the past few years.starting to get better last year,and this year improvements are starting to show ,lots of tree trimming, and the greens are better than I have seen in 5 years. Over all maintenance has improved. Good quality course.
A nice place, good challenge
Golf was a good challenge, but the fact I was suppose to play with a group and ended up joining others was disappointing. Staff is as friendly and caring. All guests were also friendly as many of these courses are part of a gated or specific community.
Greens are too hard!
Course conditions have approved, but the greens are all the consistency of finished concrete. Hard grass cut super low, ball was rolling and flying off the green all day. Miss putts rolled out twice as far as they normally would. I've played plenty of fast greens, this is not the same thing lol
Also the fairways and tee boxes were beat up on a few holes. Worth $50 but if you're paying more than that you have better options available.
A test.
At 67 and a little tight I had a hard time playing from the blues. Shot a 94 and earned every shot. Played with a young Canadian who played hockey in his school days, crusher of the drives and hit pure irons. We agreed the course was a nice challenge, but next time, I'll respect the age and play the whites.

Have your game when you go to play this course ,
It will test.every shot you have and you'll walk away challenges. Greens are phenomenal, fast and true. Fairways are in great shape and the trapa are good.

Scheduling troubles
Our tee time was 10:06 and did not get out until 10:30 and obviously slow going. Much down time. Others waited 45 minutes. Apparently, they allowed walk-ins to jump in to scheduled times. Was put off by the pro shop person. Course though has improved since last year. Bunkers were hard pan when there was no recent rain. Handle missing on ball cleaner. At this price the little things matter.
OK Golf
Course gets a lot of play. Fairways and sand beat up but greens are in decent shape and roll fairly fast. Back nine is far more enjoyable than the front nine. May or may not play again.
Cypresswood
Considering the drought and frost, the course is in very good condition compared to other central Florida courses. The starter / ranger was very friendly the cashier was NOT.
Great value
Tee boxes and greens were great. Fairways were a little sparse in places. Very enjoyable and well worth the trip.
Better than previous years
This is the second time playing this course this year. We are pleasantly surprised how much better the course is compared to 2 years ago. I would recommend to try it and form your own opinion. You have nothing to lose and a nice day of playing golf.
