Lake Ashton Golf Club - The East Course

Familiar with the community but never played here. Pleasantly surprised to find it in pretty good shape. That said, some of the greens were rough but the “hot deal” price made it ok for me. I would not be as quick to say go get it, at the regular price. Breezed through 8 holes then ran into 3 groups, and played around them breezing through the last 7. Wooden bridges on the pathway need a lot of repair but that didn’t impact the course. Heard the other side, West Course, was pretty rough and don’t know if it’s even open? A foursome, not too concerned about playing fast, good deal,,, for me, if I can’t play in under 3 hours, this time of year, I shy away.
