Course had multiple greens under repair. We were not told if this prior to our round. Course is short to begin with, this made it like a pitch and put.
Still drier than many in the area
Had a golf cart die on the 4th. But they replaced it quickly enough that we still finished 18 in 3 1/2 hours. It helps to have someone in your group playing the front tees on the 8th hole to spot fall of shot over the waste area!
Not as good as a few months ago...but...
A few months back I played here at the tail end of the "snowbird" season. The greens were in good shape. Now the greens have dead spots again, and two of the greens are provisional while they are being rebuilt for the next snowbird season. There are a couple of things that makes this course worth playing during the summer: 1) it is relatively inexpensive; and 2) the fairways are dry for the most part.
This is a short course, but it is tight, and on a couple of holes taking the high route is very tight. Being able to flight your shots will definitely save you some strokes here.
Greens and fairways rough
They had a few greens closed for repair and cut random greens into the fairways and the greens that were in the right spot were more dirty and dead grass than anything. Little to no cart path to follow with very uneven and bumpy fairways to drive in. Overall bad experience. Didn’t reduce price or give any heads up about poor quality of course during repairs.
Nice little course
Nice little 9 hole course. Very friendly staff in pro shop.
Course, specially the greens need rain, like almost every course in central Florida. We’ll play again
Second round
Today was my second day in a row playing here. It was just as fun as the first day. I can’t think of any reasons not to play this course, especially for the price.
Fun course
The course is short but that doesn’t make it easy. It calls for precision shots. Every green is elevated. This is a fun course to get some short game practice in. I liked it well enough that I came back the next day.
Need an active course ranger
Unfortunately we were behind 4 elderly gentleman that had a difficult time. I don’t mind slow play but turtle play is not ok. They should have played ready golf. They would look at the ball. Go back to the cart then get ready to hit the ball and the others should have been getting ready. A ranger should have been out there based on the number of golfers. We were stacked up 3 deep. Other then that the course is a good practice 9 hole course. Staff is always very kind.
Nice Greens
Best greens I’ve played in FL.
First time Gary
Course was fantastic, greens rolled nice. Well kept. Inside Staff was so-so, a young man (Brandon) met me in the parking lot and offered to show me around, great job! Pace of play was great until the 7th hole, very odd how slow.
