Large bunkering is an element that makes Willowbrook GC more difficult than most layouts. Here is a greenside trap at hole one (par-5, 501 yards). Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/26/2025

The tee shot at the fifth, a fine par-3 of 124 yards, must carry a water hazard and a pair of bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/26/2025

The seventh green, like many holes at Willowbrook, sits upon a mound and is guarded by a single, large bunker. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/26/2025

Course was good value for money with golf now.Greens very firm and fairway little beat up in spots.Staff super friendly and accommodating.Little disappointed charged rider fee for wife as from out of state and no other way that round was happening..Lol..overall would play again
Good value for money
Played Willowbrook early afternoon and the course was in good condition. Play was a little slow with players in front playing from tees they weren’t really capable of playing from. Greens were quite small which meant most holes were a challenge to par.
But overall for $25 including the cart it was very good value and would definitely play there again.
Great course, great value
I’ve played Willowbrook 3 times and will continue to come back. At $35 it is the best value in the area, and the course conditions are excellent. From tee box to green, this course is well maintained. The course has an extremely friendly and helpful staff, and the pace of play for all three rounds was at about 4 hours.
This is a Municipal course owned by Winter Haven. The town is doing a great job on this course. I highly recommend
Course review
Course was in good shape. Greens were good. Course was busy making play slow. Took 4 of us 4 and a half hours to complete.
Tired and boring
Tee boxes in terrible stare, long grass and uneven, fairways like semi rough, did not look like they had ever been cut! All greens very small and slow, all greens in elevated position with very long wet grass to surrounds. Pace of play slow, 4.5 hours. Will not play again.
OK For Money
Greens are small and slow. Over watered night before so ground around greens was soft and wet. OK to play as a starter round if the price is fair.
the grass was green
The course was green but they had watered it so much that it was just mud. The grass hadn't been cut for a number of day's, the pin's hadn't been moved for what looked like a week.
Wet everywhere
It was our second time in a week. We thought they would cut the collars and approaches the second time around but no luck. We played first time at 11am and then at 10am. No workers on the course. No Marshall to be seen. Both times late getting started. Save your money or spend it more wisely somewhere else
the course was in great condition the greens were very nice pace of
play was very good and enjoyable time
Nice course
My 2nd time playing the course..Fairways and greens were in great condition except for a couple of wet spots in the fairways, but they really showed that they had been kept watered!! Great course...will definitely play again..
I had not played this course in a couple of years and during that rime Florida had suffered through some very damaging storms and hurricanes. I was pleasantly surprised by the improved conditions of the fairways. I have always liked the playability and layout of Willowbrook and their very friendly staff.
The greens are the slowest greens I have ever played on in my 40 years of playing golf! They were everything previously said in the other reviews. Despite this the course was very busy so obviously there are many golfers who play it as a value course.
In the end you get what you pay for!
Decent Average Course
Decided to play here because it was a decent price and was an average course for yardage.
The greens were small and overseeded, so slower for putting, but were in good condition.
I liked the overall layout.
It's not a high end course, but worth the price. Very reasonable for what you get.
The staff are nice and seems very well organized at the first tee.
nice course
nice course ...nice people.... fair price....
fairways were in good shape a little bare every now and then but all in all playable... greens were very very very very slow... they need to be cut and rolled and this would help a lot .. they were a little bumpy...
If they did this to the greens it would be a very good place to play more often....I would give it a better review then..
All in all nice course and I would recommend playing it.....
Decent course
Fairways ok but have always found greens furry and slow. Staff great pace good
Great value for money.
Good course for all abilities, the Fairways were very lush with good grass cover, The greens were in good condition although a tad slow. We booked direct with the Pro shop only a couple of hours before Tee off and were well looked after by all . Good Bar service. Overall we had a very good experience and will return.
