About
MaraHills Golf Resort (formerly known as Hyde Mountain Golf Course) boasts a stunning setting thanks to its location within the hills above Mara Lake, with views that span the surrounding mountains and hardwood forests. Les Furber, a well known name in British Columbia golf, designed this challenging layout. You'll be using every club in your bag and you can't afford to take any of the tee shots lightly. The golf course is routed through dense groves of mature trees and across deep ravines that make for some intimidating tee shots. One hole that exemplifies the MaraHills Golf Resort experience is the par-4 fourth hole. At 483 yards, the yardage may seem strange but you'll understand why it has so much length once you're standing on the tee box, which is perched 200 feet above the fairway. The elevation offers an incredible view but be prepared for a difficult hole from tee to green.

Challenging course with spectacular views!
We love Hyde Mountain for its spectacular lake views.. It is located on the side of a mountain and every hole offers a unique challenge! The course is always in nice condition and is a great place to show off to our out of town visitors.
Spectacular setting , but very difficult to play the first time as there are a lot of blind shots. The course didn’t have any yardage stakes which made things a bit tricky. Enjoyed the round and will be back.

Truly enjoyed this golf course. Very well maintained. The greens are very challenging. Some of the views are truly beautiful. The starter is welcoming and accommodating. The starter went out of his way to accommodate me as a single player. Truly appreciated. Highly recommended this course.

The only thing missing is that it could use a bathroom here or there on the course. Other than that awesome!!!!

The course was in excellent condition, it had some challenging holes but still fun to play. I would. certainly play it again. Wonderful views.

Really nice fun course
I really enjoyed the course except for the fact they charge you to have your child ride with you. First course to ever do that, plus my daughter wasn’t allowed to drive the cart because she wasn’t 16. She has been driving me around golf courses for 4 years and no one has ever had a problem till this course. So nice course but not really kid friendly.

No course marshall
A few small tournaments on course with beginner golfers .... extremely slow and no course marshals ..... 5 hour round .....terrible !!!!
