Very challenging course with great views of Mara lake.

Staff seem not very knowledgeable but they are helpful.

Golfed here many times and love it every time

Hyde Mountain in Sicamous, BC is a beautiful track over looking Mara Lake with some gorgeous views. It is a tight tree lined layout with a number of short narrow par 4's and reachable par 5's (if you can navigate the tight fairways). Target golf for certain, with less than driver off a lot of tee's.

Although I love playing them I find that most short par 4's are gimmicky with unnecessarily difficult greens to compensate for the lack of length , and at Hyde there is only one such hole where you hit a blind approach shot to a multi-tiered greent that can see a lot chips and putts finish further from the hole than you started.

All in all a great track that I am excited to play again, especially now that I have played it once and have a better idea where to aim to leave myself in a better position.

We live golfing Hyde it would be nice if when people are sent out that they are made aware that the beverage cart is already off the coarse and the snack shack is closed. At 330 pm on a Saturday is a bit unrealistic

I used to houseboat every summer and that is how we came across Hyde Mountain. This course is as challenging as it is beautiful. But bring lots of balls, you will need them if you're not consistent. Trust me! I no longer houseboat but I try my best to get to sicamous once or twice a summer just to play this absolute gem.

It is a great course regardless of if you are paying full price or using one of the Hot Deals.

Challenging holes scattered throughout. Some of the par 4's are drive-able if you're a long hitter. Views of the lake are perfect both on the course and on the patio at the clubhouse.

I find the proximity to Sicamous can draw some lesser skilled tourist golfers that can really slow down play with how challenging the holes are and of course the photo op on the 4th hole.

Either way, its my go to course when I am in Sicamous. I play 3-4 times per week when I am there.

Always a fun day st Hyde..was a bit damp in places this time because of a torrential downpour the nIshtar before..still had the awesome views and wildlife..if you have a chance to play The Hyde..DO IT..!!

A cool and wet morning left the course nearly empty for us to enjoy at noon as the afternoon dried and warmed up. Some soggy areas on some fairways and winter kill spots on the greens were to be expected but overall the course was in very good condition. views from several holes are spectacular as some have very elevated tee boxes with the lake in the background. Many of the large greens had challenging slopes and tiers. Always enjoy smashing a drive on #4 from way above the landing zone. Fun to play and my wife enjoyed it too. Had to play around a deer on one hole and a marmot watched us tee off on another. Too bad the house boat snack shack wasn't open that day but I'm sure it will be on weekends and in summer. Enjoy.

Overall the course was in awesome shape. Nestled on the side of the mountain with spectacular views. This course is challenging but always fun to play. Don't pass this one up.

Hyde is an amazing course. Scenery is spectacular, conditions were fairly good for the amount of rain we've had. Greens are in great shape and a real challenge. Bring your A game.

Great course visually, and staff is very accommodating. We decided to have post game dinner elsewhere but that was only because we tee,d off late this time & sun was going down. But great deck for burgs + bevvies, and the view is top shelf to say the least.

Aside from the beautiful scenic views, the course was in rough shape. The marsh-like fairways, temporary tee boxes and a shared green made for an interesting experience at the course. Hopefully as the seasons goes on the course will be in better shape

greens were excellent, fairways were terrible soft and muddy, rough has not been cut this year. Normally a great course but they have opened up much too soon and a terrible course to play cartpath only. Our foursome lost balls on almost every hole because rough was so long we could not find them but we found lots of balls from other players in the same boat. Were never held up but took 5 hours to play from looking and walking back and forth to cartpath. This course needs a month to dry out.

Course was somewhat wet, but expected that with the early open and recent rain

I enjoy playing this course, but this round was a little disappointing. The price was great, but the main reason ingredients play Hyde is for the big drop hole. It was closed as well as the next hole. I understand he reasons for closing the holes, but to book the time and drive an hour only to find out the whole course isn't even open wasn't that cool. If GolfNow is posting tee times for courses that are partially open it should be posted to the time. I would've played a course closer to home if I would've known prior to showing up, save time and gas money. In the summer, Hyde is a great course that is super challenging but always green and fun.

Challenging course for mid and high handicap golfers. Best views on 4, 14, 15 & 17.

The course is absolutely soaked. I guess they have had tons and tons of rain. Had to stay on the cart path. Pretty well had to re-drop every second ball because it was so wet where it lay..Too bad because the course and scenery is beautiful.
