Don't expect Pebble Beach
My wife and I played this course half a dozen times this year and we don't understand the bad reviews we've read. This is a surprisingly challenging course with the four significantly elevated T's and the water hazards IE River that are in play on several holes.
File the greens were not in the best shape we've seen, they were consistent. We always try to tee off first thing in the morning so pace of play is not an issue and we usually finish the 18 in 3 and 1/2 hours.
After 2020 this course is going to become part of the casino resort and I am disappointed that I won't be playing it again. It was a lot of fun and it did offer some good challenges for me. I always play the blue tees and I was able to break 80 twice this year.
Not worth regular rates
Would not pay regular rates at this course. Not well maintained for the amount they charge for a regular round.
Could be a really nice course...
Nice structure, scenic, urban-ish course conveniently located just off HWY 401, but not kept in very good condition. Never has been, but for the cost and location, it's good for practicing.
Good value
The course conditions were poor particularly the tee boxes were in terrible shape. However it was good value for the money.
Way Overbooked
They overbooked the entire course that we went to. We had to wait , not exaggerating, 40 minutes from our Tee time to get a cart because they had ovebooked for the day. Then when we did get the cart we ended up having to wait behind others because of the backlog. All made just a little more annoying was that we got placed with two other people, which was never stated when I booked.
The course overall was pretty nice and the staff was too but lets be real, the whole situation is pretty unacceptable. We didn't ask for money back or anything but I feel we would have been well within our rights to do so.
Probably won't go here again.
Good to play here
Good course to play.
May not be easy for the first time but overall good layout yet challenging.
Will come back again.
poor encounter
the male who was at the clubhouse was the worse before I even enter to pay he was saying that we would not be able to be the first group out because is member usually get first tee spot I told him that I book it for early because we play quick he then proceed to tell me that I should take my money and play at another course and if we were not able to keep up he will send the marshal to kick us off the course was a real bad experience we tee off at around 7:25 and finish at 10:15 but to have this man represent c/s not good
A bad day on the fairway!
Very unpleasant day on the course. Other p’ayers Not friendly. Some way too slow, some way too pushy, and the Marshals willing to p’ay The Sheriff to regulate, but with no global view of the course.
And the fairways are in really bad condition, the tee off areas even worse !
Chaos reigns supreme
This course doesn't have a Marshall so nothing is enforced and people have free reign to do whatever they want.
Our round was flying by with no one in sight until a group of three men suddenly appeared out of thin air right on our tee box.
They then proceeded to hack it up on the next two holes until we finally had enough, confronted them about their Hudini and they begrudgingly let us through.
