Knollwood Golf Club - New
About
There are two courses at the Knollwood Golf Club, the New and the Old. The New Course, which is adjacent to the Old, was built almost 20 years after the original. It is the trickier layout of the two. Although the scenic landscape was already dotted with trees, thousands more were planted to create a more challenging golf course and to enhance the beautiful terrain. The layout features plenty of elevation changes throughout and there are elevated tees where golfers can take in pleasant views. The architect of the New Course, Jack Harris, employed his memories of the most interesting holes he had played around the world to recreate some of them on this course.

KNOLLWOOD NEW
GOT DOUBLE CHARGED. PLAYING PARTNER WENT IN TO PAY ADDITIONAL COST OF POWER CARTS AND STAFF TOLD HIM THAT PAYMENT FOR GREENS FEES HAD NOT BEEN PAID, ALTHOUGH MY CREDIT CARD WAS CHARGED
Excellent course
First time playing this course. Was impressed by the staff at check in. Informative, polite and accommodating.
The course itself was a treat to play with well groomed fairways and greens in excellent condition.
I would highly recommend this course. I will certainly be back in the near future.
Unfortunate time to play this course
The greens were recently sanded which made for absolutely no give when putting. Ball was not rolling anywhere on any green which made for a very frustrating day of playing golf. Not used to such a slow green so that was disappointing.
Course not worth the cost
Tee boxes were terrible, fairways were ok and some of the greens were terrible. They should not charge half of what they do. When I arrived the first staff member I saw was rude and sarcastic. They're putting green was closed and had to wait until my tee time to go to the 1st tee.
Decent course
Overall a good track. Some damage on the greens but overall the course was in good condition.
Some fun challenging holes but very fair.
Big issue that the GPS takes you to the Old Course so be careful of that.
No facilities available after the round, no open patio or food or drinks.
Knollwood G C neglected!
Have travelled from Mississauga many times to play Knollwood in past. I like the design and challenge of many holes but, the recent lack of maintenance is disgusting! For example ...greens shaggy and uncut, tee boxes mostly mud with some grass clumps, cart paths have serious trenches and ruts, fairways that have hit and miss grass cutting.and singular tee markers tossed in clusters on the tee deck! There is no excuse for this! Golfers are thrilled to be out on the golf courses as a reprieve from Covid 19. This is totally a decision by Knollwood management to allow these substandard conditions! My review confirms many others with similar concerns. I will not be recommending Knollwood to my friends and definitely will not be back!
one and only time for me
course was not in good condition but if you just want to go and whack a ball around for 3 to 4 hours this might be O.K.
Course has excellent features but always been in very poor condition .
Poor condition but round of golf is getting more expensive. There are courses with lot of GREEN GRASS every where for less or little bit more money.Do not be lazy and look around.
Terrible front 9 conditions
For $50 twilight fee, we were very disappointed with the conditions of the teeboxes and greens on the front 9. All dirt and patchy... Definitely does not look like the beautiful video in their website. Weeds and dirt everywhere. They also book the tee times much closer to each other than other courses. We felt very rushed and had a young group behind us also almost hit us multiple times. We won't be back for the value or conditions.
Course Review
some of the greens are in really poor condition. Some quirky holes, blind shots, have to hit spots to set up for second shot
Terrible
Course was in terrible condition 75 dollars with a cart on a Saturday morning to play off dirt
Greens poor
Greebs were in bad need of attention. Staff were excellent. However there was no one there to complain about course. Very limited drinks & or food choices
