About
Knollwood Golf Club is home to two 18-hole courses, the Old and the New. The golf courses were built nearly 20 years apart. Opened in 1970, the Old Course is spread across beautiful parkland that is covered in trees. The layout is more traditional and less challenging than the other course at Knollwood Golf Club, but it is still an entertaining round. The main priority in creating the golf course was to not only maintain the natural features of the terrain, but also enhance it. Thousands of trees were planted in addition to those already present throughout the golf course. The result is a unique course that players of all skill levels will enjoy.

Terrible condition
I have played both the old and the new in the past week and they are both worse than cow pastures. The greens are terrible, especially bc they really isn’t any grass on them
Need to close and repair this place
Old Knollwood
The greens are slow, and are patchy ...Mostly bad greens was my peeve .Oh and the T boxes weren’t well marked out or the good of shape either... for $80 I’d rather go to Chedoke or Kings Forest or both for that much...Smh
The course has some interesting challenges
The course is fairly easy to play, but did have some challenging shots. Some chutes to hit through and some narrow fairways. Also a few trees guarding greens. There are no bunkers. Some of the greens were not in great shape. They had bare patches. They had been sanded to help with that. The tee blocks and fairways also had bare spots and were hard. All in all the course appeared dry. I would come back under better course conditions.
Knollwood (old course)
Course was in decent shape but the green were terrible.
They were 15 minutes behind and carts had to be in at 8:30 when we could have played for another 30 minutes. Felt like they were rushing us off the course so they could get off worker earlier.
Meant for a low budget, recreational golfer
Staff were all super friendly and it was really appreciated. The tee boxes are essentially non-existent as some holes didn't even have blue blocks. Greens were also in rough shape. But despite all that, leta remember that this course is priced accordingly. If youre a recreational golfer, this is a great and easyyyyy course to work on some basic swing techniques.
Don't come here expecting 5-star conditions when youre only paying 2-star prices. It is fairly priced and caters to beginners which is perfectly fine.
Greens were in soso shape(a lot of dead patches) pace of play was very good
Very picturesque
Greens were a little slow and patchy due to lack of rain.
Electric Golf cart has plastic divider so 2 players can use 1 cart. $26.00 per cart.
Scenery very nice.
One can score well as all holes fairly short which includes par 5s
I would not recommend walking as some holes have a long walk between them.
Good value overall - Busy but not over crowded.
