About
Located on the outskirts of the southwestern city of Guelph, Ariss Valley Golf & Country Club offers 27 holes of scenic golf that sprawl across a rolling landscape of trees and ponds. The Willows golf course is one of the three nine-hole courses at the club. The Willows features an abundance of trees that demand accuracy and keen course management. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also strategically placed, Ohio white sand bunkers throughout the course. Ariss Valley Golf & Country Club's Willow course offers a fair challenge, but it is also approachable for beginning and intermediate players. The other two golf courses provide plenty of other golfing options as well.

First 2016 round in Ontario
This was the last course we played in 2015 (Dec 24th) and also the first round this spring. Course was in great shape for the time of year. Greens well cut and rolled (quick for this time of year). I have played this course often over the years and it improves each year. Good value.
Great value
Great value have played this course many times over past several years great shape although can at times be a little wet. Staff is great make sure you have something to eat. Always great food.

Love this course
I can't believe the weather was as beautiful as it was yesterday. This is one of my fav courses. It's challenging but as a beginner I find this course very manageable and fun to play. I think it's a gem that a lot of people don't know about. It never seems crazy busy and the pace of play seems to be great whenever I play here.
We've been loving the unexpectedly beautiful weather as well! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on our course - we're so glad you always enjoy coming by for a round. Until next time!

rained early morning, overcast all day. wet conditions, playable, greens very slow to start got progressively faster by the back 9, nice course, has its unique challenges, manageable, definitely will play again.
Food was very good and presented well

Great country course
Interesting course with many challenging aspects. Staff exceptional. Food very good. As per other reviews the sand bunkers are not well tended with many stones. A very pleasant round.
This course is a hidden gem otside of Guelph Ontario

Average at best
A challenging layout especially when the wind picks up. Greens are in pretty good shape and are typically very large compared to many in this area (that's a good thing!). Overall conditions aren't the best though. Many areas of ground under repair and the worst bunkers I have ever seen. Absolutely no sand, lots of rocks and weeds galore. I wouldn't expect this for the price you pay.

Lovely course
Great course to play. The weather did not cooperate and we had to leave before finishing our round. We had paid through golf now so could not get a rain check. Made the best of a bad weather day!

Great course
We drive from Brampton to play here for the following reasons: Course is great condition/pace of play is great/ no Marshals chasing you to play faster than is safe to do, food s great and the new facility is nice with fantastic views of the golf course from the restaurant. will definitely go again.

Fun course
3 different 9s Pines, Willows and Lakes didn't try lakes but the other two were fun!

Three good nines
My playing partner and I chose a very windy, cool day to play this course but in the end it turned out fine.
The course is in great condition and the greens well kept and fast. Not for beginners but intermediate and up will enjoy the experience.

Over booked but good.
The front 9 had us waiting almost every hole and the people behind us had us rushing. The back 9 was a bit better but still same. Overall a good course, and the staff was great.
Great Greens
Watch your approach into the greens, as they are extremely big. You need to check out the colour of the flag.
Hidden Gem
Got a great deal on GolfNow. Combined a hot deal with a promo code to get a round of 18 holes with cart for $24.00. Played on a Monday at noon as a twosome. At one point we caught up to a slower group. Shortly after that a marshall approached us and asked about the pace of play. He saqid he would speak to the group ahead of us and asked them to let us play through which they did. A marshall that actually does something - what a change from most courses.
Pro-shop staff made my day.
We had originally booked a threesome the day before. One person had to cancel the morning of our tee-time. We tried to replace our third and couldn't. Called golf now, who called the pro-shop to see if we could cancel the third with out paying. And they were fine with that 3 hours before tee-off. The course other than the greens is in excellent condition. The greens were slow and furry. Also there wasn't a refreshment cart on course. The server in the clubhouse wasn't very pleasant. Thanks again to the Pro-shop, as any day golfing is better than working.

Golf course is only a couple minutes outside of Guelph it is in great shape defiantly will go back

This is a great course. The greens are very large. For the most part the fairways are family wide.
The staff was grate very acomating.
Would highly recommend this course.
