Very Good Experience
St Andrews Valley conveniently located in northern GTA is well maintained course that offers above average challenge to most golfers as you can play from several yardage. Staff professionally dressed, helpful and friendly. Starter and marshalls try to keep pace of play moving but this course is popular and very busy. It is good value at $75 with cart.
amazing course
course was amazing, in great condition and the facilities were about the best i've seen on a public course. Will be playing it again.
also, the girl in the pro shop, Katie i think it was, went the extra mile and found my partner a pair of golf shoes to purchase.
thx
Great Course
Great layout, great value, conditions are pristine, the most tee blocks I've seen, and the best golf carts I've ever used with bucket seats and Bluetooth speakers
Glad to try this course
Good course. Suggest a significant discounted seniors rate
Great time
Good conditions and greens are in good shape for the early spring. Fairway is good but dry but it’s early and it’s been dry. Worth it though
good couese for a late fall round
The course is in good shape, and the deal offer can't be beat
Good overall, but hosed on practice balls
Course was good overall. First impression is really good. Putting green is nice and you get the feeling right away that you are at a nicer (almost private feeling) course. Layout was good and conditions were fine. Lots of undulation in the greens which were a little on the slow side. Maybe a little too severe for most players? They were ok, but I didn't love them.
I got a last minute deal on golf now, but for the regular rate of $89 I was pretty surprised when I walked down to the practice range and was told I had to pay $8 for balls (back up at the clubhouse). I know that is not unusual, but there are some courses near by that offer free practice range balls for similar or even cheaper green fees. In my opinion, this is just one of the many things that make those courses better.
Greens not taken care of
I love this course and have only been able to play it one time this year due to all courses being super busy this year . I feel there is too many inexperienced beginner golfers with poor golf etiquette that are playing these courses meant for players that understand playing a nicer course means you need to fix your divots and ball marks so the players behind you can have a good experience there especially when paying almost $120 including cart taxes and range balls . When you need to fix 4-5 ball marks at almost every green just to attempt as a putt is not something expected when playing a place like this ! It’s unfortunate that these type of players are ruining what should be a great golf experience for seasoned golfers who take pride and fixing whatever minor damages are caused for the players behind them... I hope for this course and many others I’ve seen that happen to more awareness is shown to players who don’t care or may not even know they need to at the very least fix their ball marks and keep greens in good shape !
