About

The Valley Course is a heavily forested golf course is the original layout at the club. The course is unique in that it has relatively short yardages rated with such high slopes mainly due to the tight fairways and numerous elevation changes. The driver will most likely stay in your bag while the long irons will be used often. The golf course is very tight, offering an ideal place to get some practice with irons. It is also provides an ideal warm-up round for the more difficult course at the Horseshoe Resort, the Highlands Course.

Amazing value

Amazing value - I have no idea why this course is not rated higher. Well-maintained, scenic, varied, very challenging and not crowded at all. May be best of all is that it was 12 holes… Which is the perfect distance in our opinion. $45 for a round with a cart is great! We will definitely be back soon!

This resort use to have two excellent courses. But due to closure of the better course due to real estate expansion, the remaining 12 hole course is a disaster.

The checkin was unorganized and my party was not on the starter sheet as we were “Golf Now.”

The fairways are narrow and use of a driver is appropriate for maybe three holes. The cart paths are washed out and are dangerous.

The signage on the course is pitiful. The sand traps are full of water and hard packed. The holes are close together and novice golfers are routinely hitting out of your fairway.

The pace of play is horrible as it is aimed at novice golfers or guests of the resort.

Overall, this may be the worse course I have ever played.

Enjoyed all 12 holes.

We did come across “hikers” that wandered onto the fairway, was a little distracting

12 holes?

When I booked online I had my filters.set for 18 holes. This course came up as one of the options. I booked it. When I got there, I was informed it was only as 12nhole golf course. Was expecting 18... got 12... very disappointed.

Worst course ever

There was nothing good about this course. We got a “hot deal” on golf now. It could have been worse, had we paid regular price. “A real cow pasture” at best. . Don’t waste your time or money.

Course layout is not bad . But course conditions are really bad.

I bought from golf now 18holes. But that course is only 12holes. We’re 1.30hrs driving from Toronto. Nobody wants long distance trip for 12holes. Unfortunately we don’t have choice. So embarrassing!! We should extra paid for more play. GolfNow should be right information. Pls…
