The Valley Course is a heavily forested golf course is the original layout at the club. The course is unique in that it has relatively short yardages rated with such high slopes mainly due to the tight fairways and numerous elevation changes. The driver will most likely stay in your bag while the long irons will be used often. The golf course is very tight, offering an ideal place to get some practice with irons. It is also provides an ideal warm-up round for the more difficult course at the Horseshoe Resort, the Highlands Course.

Horseshoe is now down to 9 holes (back 9) the front 9 has been converted to a par 3 I was not impressed with the layout and conditions but greens were in good shape and very challenging with the slope new check in for golf follow signs. It's a shame the course has been reduced to this
Not a good course
Not a good course. Fairways are hard and dirty. Greens had not been cut in weeks. Horseshoe clearly doesn't care about the golf part of the business
Destroyed a great old gores
The 9 hole cores is what was the back 9 of the old cores great layout fun to play. Unfortunately the front 9 is gone will not play there again.
I have stayed and played this course over the years. I was very disappointed with the course and Maintenance of the course was in poor condition the greens and fairways and tee boxes I’m very disappointed that only nine holes was open.

I was surprised to see the beautiful course for a good price today, I enjoyed very much, worth to try and play .
Good course, shadow of what it was
The former courses have been whittled from 36 down to only 9. The original back nine of the valley course. Still decent but not the place it use to be
THE COURSE is very scienic
Great course cut through the woods and hills of Horseshoe valley and is very scenic but it is only 9 holes.
Don`t understand why they did`nt keep it as a 18 hole course

Good course for couple and young golfers, Moderately challenging but not too long. Not a course for seasoned or scratch golfers unless they want to work on short game.
