About
The Valley Course is a heavily forested golf course is the original layout at the club. The course is unique in that it has relatively short yardages rated with such high slopes mainly due to the tight fairways and numerous elevation changes. The driver will most likely stay in your bag while the long irons will be used often. The golf course is very tight, offering an ideal place to get some practice with irons. It is also provides an ideal warm-up round for the more difficult course at the Horseshoe Resort, the Highlands Course.

good value for the money
Greens were slow but in great shape. Pace of play was OK and when it did slow down the players' assistant was there to correct the problem. Overall it was great experience.
Great Day on a Great Course
Horseshoe Valley is a tight course nestled into the woods. It is not extremely long but it is challenging in terms of knowing where to place the ball. It is an enjoyable walk for those who are fit enough. There is a long walk between 9 and 10 but otherwise it is quite do-able.
nice, but would not play it again
Overbooking made it very slow...waiting every shot.
Very tight course...sometimes too tight in spots.
A good challenge, but not a typical golf course.
Also too much other activities going on at the resort made it noisy. ie: ziplining, hiking, bike trails, people calling out to each other.
Really nice course great day!!!
Very well maintained. Enjoyed our round. Very friendly staff.
