Great Course, Great Deals
We played this course on a Friday morning and the time couldn't have worked out better. The pace was perfect. Once we got past the third hole, we didn't see anyone ahead of us or behind us for the rest of the 18 hole course. We were able to take our time and had a great golf game. The weather was rainy for the majority of the course, but our deal included a cart so we were able to drive through it without getting too soaked. The course conditions were still great even with all the rain, no trouble waterlogged spots. I would play here again for sure.
Study yardages.. Driver may get you in trouble on several holes..
Very good value for what you pay in |Green fees. . Forced to use a variety of clubs from your bag. Difficult to figure out where to place your shot when hitting onto the greens the first time out. Very undulating on,7, 8, 12, and 13. Need a good marshall to speed up play when course gets busy.

Always Enjoyable
This is a nice little course, well maintained, convenient to Barrie and Orillia.
Staff is friendly and their restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices.

Great Value
Great value, but if you're booking on the weekend ask if there are any tournaments scheduled that day.
We got behind a tournament and the pace was slooooooow.

Great value for the money
Got a great deal on golfnow. They get you teed off on time. Conditions are quite decent. I have been there a few times, first couple conditions were mediocre however was during the water ban. It's best to go early in morning.

I must say in an age where everyone is always in a rush the staff especially the Sherlock family go well above and beyond with there customers service .
the course itself from the putting green to the driving range is very well kept
they really make you feel like they value your business
I had awesome experience as usual and I cant wait to play there again.

Two Different Courses
The front nine is flat and open however they have made the second hole challenging with the addition of a new pond & green. The second nine is totally different and a good test of accuracy.
The staff is extremely friendly and the maintenance crew seem to take pride in their work, the course is rounding into good shape.

Over Booked
The Course was slightly overbooked but we still enjoyed our round

Simoro Golf in May
You get what you pay for. This is a decent course, especially for those who are starting out as it is not particularly long. There was much work being done on this particular day. Some yardages listed were not even close as it appears they were changing some holes and adjusted tee blocks. Other than that, the weather was great, the pace was fine (approx. 3.5 hrs). Do not expect pristine fairways for this money. The fairways can be bumpy and uneven. The grooming is good and the greens were in surprisingly good condition so early in the year.

Great value, great fun and even greater people
OK so it isn't Pebble Beach or some TPC course. But for those of us who must buy their own clothes and clubs, Simoro is a terrific track. Yes, in the spring the course can be wet but that goes away. The greens are well maintained and the holes, especially on the back 9, are interesting and fair. The bunkers need work so don't hit the ball there.

Great greens and food
Staff made was fell very welcome. Greens were great making putting a challenge. Food was excellent with great prices. Would make this an eat and play stop again.

Open too early
Course was soaked. Cart track ruts all over.
I have played this course before mid-season.
They have opened too early. Course needs to dry up

Good value
Hard to say what the course is really like at this time of year.Just opened.Greens were in pretty good shape for this time of year, plus it was wet. good value and would play again !!!
