Glen Eagle Golf Club - Red/Blue

About
Glen Eagle Golf Club, which is situated just northwest of Toronto, offers 27 holes of championship golf that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Red/Blue Course features undulating fairways and large, heavily contoured greens that move fast. The Red nine is the most difficult of the three nines at the club. It demands keen course management skills and accurate tee shots. It also requires a few long drives at 3, 521 yards form the tips. The Blue nine is challenging as well, but there are birdie opportunities on the 5th and 7th since their greens aren't elevated like all of the others.

Insanely overpriced.
Insanely over priced for what you get. It’s a 27 hole course where you usually always play the same 18. 105$ plus tax per person is crazy. For the most basic golf course possible.
Not good to GolfNow player
The guy at the pro-shop was very unfriendly to GolgNow players. I was not on his computer’s booking and he refused to call GolfNow even I tried to show him my confirmation number. He told me to book directly via their website not through GolfNow!
Bring your Driver!
I recently played a round at this course and found it to be quite nice, though it’s a really long one. We played the Red to Blue, which had lots of par 4s, a few par 5s, and very few par 3s. The layout is solid, but it’s definitely a challenge for those looking for a shorter round.
One downside was that the starter rushed everyone off, but once we got going, we realized there was no one behind us. It felt like we were hurried for no reason.
Overall, it’s a great course, but be prepared for a long walk if you’re not using a cart.
Glen Eagle
We teed off at 8:15 as a foursome played the first two holes in 20 minutes. There after the pace of play was horrible. The group in front of us were hitting multiple balls from the tee and all over the golf course with their carts. We called for a Marshall at hole 4 and he didn’t do much. This course is notorious for slow play
Inserted a small tournament in front of us at the turn!
Played Red/Blue.
Good pace until we got to the turn at Blue. 4 foursomes showed up to play and were slotted onto Blue right in front of us. The starter had disappeared because he didn’t want to deal with us. What a joke. They need to get a bit more organized with 3 none hole courses they require crossing.
