Glen Eagle Golf Club - Red/Blue

About
Glen Eagle Golf Club, which is situated just northwest of Toronto, offers 27 holes of championship golf that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Red/Blue Course features undulating fairways and large, heavily contoured greens that move fast. The Red nine is the most difficult of the three nines at the club. It demands keen course management skills and accurate tee shots. It also requires a few long drives at 3, 521 yards form the tips. The Blue nine is challenging as well, but there are birdie opportunities on the 5th and 7th since their greens aren't elevated like all of the others.

Going Downhill
During my most recent visit we encountered a group of 6 and a group of 8 golfers. Round took 5 hours and marshal nowhere to seen until the end of the round. Greens also full of ball marks, otherwise course conditions were average. I won’t be back this year.
Always know what you’re paying for
Glen eagle has always been a great track. In July the fairways can be a bit harder as well as the rough which means you get a bit more bounce.
If you end up in the trees you always have a line out, but never up and over. Love the challenege.
Was in great shape and twilight pace was 3.5 hours with a twosome.
Great value for the price when compared to other courses. I highly recommend the course!
Poorly kept greens
Greens had ants coming out of them. On some holes the surface off the tee is rock hard and all dirt forcing you to use a tee. Fairways are in good condition and service is good. Friendly staff and cart girl comes around twice. Overall it is not worth the price, especially if riding. I’ve played in Oakville, Burlington and hamilton on much nicer courses for way less than $118
Good upper average track.
Very poorly marshalled… 5:15 hr of course time for 18 holes. Pace was extremely slow due to low skill set golf foursome two groups ahead of us . Marshalls no where to be seen until hole 16. Not going to this track again.
Thank you to the staff
Had a great day on the course and the weather was perfect. A big shout out to the staff for helping us out. We had to change from 18 holes to 9 and the staff helped us out. I look forward to going back there in the near future.
