Club at Bond Head - North

Though I had booked our tee times 5 days in advance the day before I switched tee times to a promo including Golf, cart, use of range , PGA shirt a dozen NIKE balls and a BBQ lunch. I got the full deal, 2 of the group got a shirt and one nothing except the lunch. They ran out of shirts and balls. OH and the range was closed (too wet) and finally holes 2,4,6 and 8 on the front nine was cart path only.

I knew we were in trouble on the practice putting green when I just drooped 3 balls and they rolled 12 feet away.. The first 3 holes on each nine lull you into a false sense of security. On the north course you will encounter LONG forced carries over "Natural Areas" , The greens a billiard table fast to the point hat they make Augusta look slow. On one hole I kissed a 10 foot downhill put it ran another 25 feet off the green then down a slope another 20 yards. This course just BEATS YOU UP. and to show that it is not just sour grapes I shot my handicap..

I don't know if they have a signature it might be one of the three that have a 200 to 300 yard elevation from tee to green,

The bunkers were brutal no sand and I was in several (at least they were consistent.)

The best part of the day was the meal afterward , between the 4 of us we had 3 different entrees and all were delicious and reasonably priced.

I have another 2for1 for this course It is now in the garbage. I don't mind a challenging course but not one that beats you down

Very difficult course. if you are not a long hitter don't be fooled by playing the middle tees. Many holes require a 200+ tee shot to reach the fairway. Average golfer would struggle unless playing white or green tees.

The course is great ,views greatscenic value .The first issue we had with course was lack of yardage markers ,our carts had no gps and we were constantly searching for sprinkler heads with the yardage on them .Secondly the sand in the traps was far below average ,that being said the grounds crew did say they were schedualed to replace all the bunkers with new sand.Overall this course is worth playing an average golfer will find lots of challenges.The staff were great ,is fast becoing a favorite.oh and they need a bigger parking lot up top had to park in bottom one bit of a nuisance .

This course is in terrific shape. Lots of tee boxes for hitters of different lengths, great fairways, very scenic. Just loved it.

The staff was friendly and pleasant, however the North Course is not a fun or enjoyable experience. There was no consistency when it came to green speed. Every putt was different, even on the same green. The bunkers were worse than hitting off a cart path, I don't think you could even call what's in them sand..

The layout was like the designer said well we've got some land left, put 18 holes there, and let the players just figure the layout out for themselves.

I can honestly say, the round was not worth my time or money.

Great course - perfect conditions - greens slow compared to normal - south course had a tournament and so the north was packed and even though I saw and spoke to 2 marshals the pace of play was terrible. When I arrived at the 11th hole there were 2 groups waiting to tee off and I had already been on the course for 3 hours. I would recommend calling before playing to be sure there is no tournament on either course as this will definitely mean a VERY long day on the course you are on.

A few silly holes, but some really really good ones as well. Playing twilight at the GN rate, you really can't beat the value.

Course is always in good condition but narrow greens that are tough to land. A bit soggy in some spots.

Played the south course, if you like hilly courses, this is for you. Too Hilly for me, course was in good shape

Everything was great Beautiful green layouts except the day I went nobody informed me they just aerated. other than that it was very challenging course !

it was a great course to play,not for beginners, great challenging holes and beautifully laid out i would play it again in a heart beat

I always make sure that I get to play The Bond Head North or South in every season. These courses brings out the best in me in my game. Teeing off from the Blues is stretching out your skill level especially in long carries. Because of the upward layout, you need to add one club more. The greens are perfect despite the aeration. The Bond Head is my no. 1 golf course.

The course is impressive but I was waiting too much.

Beautiful course but slow as this is just for the experienced (good) golfer . Extremely tough course
