Golfer Reviews
Definitely a experience to play from the tips.
First out at 7:30, finished the round in 3 hours. Course was in great shape, very challenging and definitely a trek. Wouldn’t recommend playing from the tips if you struggle to consistently hit the ball 280+ and straight off the tee.
Just fix the bunkers
Really enjoyable course and good value for the price. They just need to put some sand in their dirt hole bunkers.
Monday round at Bind Head South
The course could use some TLC bunkers haven’t been groomed in a while. Tees could be cut, very shaggy! And people! Please fix your ball marks, my back is sore from fixing many many many ball marks!!
Bond Head South
The course played well. Greens were fast and I’m good shape. Only issue was not enough distance markers. GPS in the carts would take care of that.
Great Course
First time playing this course (South) and its was great. A lot of interesting features and elevation. Course was well maintained. Very pleased would golf there again.
Great Value
Not always possible to get this price, but last minute booking worked out well. Course was in really good shape and greens were excellent (though I fixed at least 5 ball marks on each green...come on people!!!). Handled the covid restrictions well and enjoyed the day.
Bond Head South and North
South course has 8 really great holes on its front 9 which is rare. (All but the 8th hole). The In side has 6 good holes. This course is absolutely perfect for a dirt cheap twilight round you don’t mind rushing the last few before dark!
South course is not as beautiful as North course but IT IS a better golf course. It’s holes flow gorgeously with land and are a nice mix. The North course is a 6-6-6... 6 remarkable holes. 6 good holes, and 6 holes (3 boring 3 gimmicky) that had to get stuffed or left somewhere on the property. I most often play the South because I rather play 14 good holes than 12 simple as that.
South Course a good test but not too difficult.
I enjoyed the South course at Bond Head. It wasn't as difficult as the North which I preferred as my playing partners weren't good players. Thankfully the staff kept the tee times in 10 minute intervals & we were able to keep up. The course is right in front in you & I didn't see any forced carries unlike the North. Overall, lots of fun & a course I would definitely play again.
In rough shape
Greens were terrible. Some watering of the course would go a really long way. Generally it seems as though Club Link is neglecting the proper care of the course.
Excellent experience in light of covid
Excellent experience today, the staff are friendly and excited to see you as you arrive.
They have everything figured out and have safe procedures in place for covid.
The course is beautiful and in great condition.
A bit of a long round due to some slow people in front of us.
Thanks Bondhead!!! Amazing day
Worth the Money
Playing the Bond Head means getting the best deal in golf especially during this difficult times. Considering almost all are in a budget, this course understands and complements any golfer with a budget in mind. There are many golf courses around the area that are not as difficult, beautiful and challenging than the Bond Head but their rates are just difficult to consider. Way to go Bond Head and we'll be playing more at your golf course.
Outstanding value in every way!
Very well organized to handle the Covid-19 problem. We each had our own cart and everything was totally clean and disinfected.
Next time out I will move forward from the white tee box since at 74 and with the wind I found it too much of a challenge at over 6,000 yards.
We all felt that we got very good value for what we paid considering the quality and state of the course.
ClubLink is losing value
I love this course but ClubLink is not taking care of the property. Greens are slow, rough is choppy at best. They really need to stop making decisions in the boardroom and create a better golf experience.
Great value for this course
Course not in pristine condition. Tre boxes uncut and shaggy fairways
Bad conditions, horrible pace
Have played this course many times and sadly it seems to be slipping away. We were fourth to tee of today and the pace was incredibly slow with not a Marshall in sight. We teed off ten minutes late which is unnaceptable. In covid times where everyone has their own cart the pace should be faster, not slower. Slow pace is a common theme with this course and they don't seem to do much about it. Our round took nearly 5 hours and we play very fast (we were first to tee of here last year and we're finished in 3:30)
The course condition this year is also poor. The tee boxes haven't been cut in days (weeds 8" high), the rough in some spots was 10" long and full of dandelions. The greens were slow and bumpy as well.
Unless things get better I won't be returning, it's unfortunate because this course has tons of potential and is in a great location.
Adapting to the New COVID rules
My second golf game since opening last week. Really wanted to get back to my favorite game asap. However the new rules are a thing to get used too. So far so good and the pace of play is faster considering that you spend less time putting. We played the South Course however very different from the previous years I played. Tee boxes are not in their usual shape as before and the rough is not being trim. It's understandable however. I'll be back again since this is my no. 1 golf course.
I expected the course to be in better shape
I've played this course many times, and each time I feel the course condition is getting worse. The fairways were hard and dried out and the greens were long, not rolled and very bumpy. I expected better given it's early in the year.
conditions at Bondhead
The course is in terrible condition. Yje should be charging 35. Marshalling is invisible. People driving on Fescue , up to greens. Tee boxes looked like cow field. Daisies in the middle of the fairway. Come on what a joke.
