Golfer Reviews
conditions at Bondhead
The course is in terrible condition. Yje should be charging 35. Marshalling is invisible. People driving on Fescue , up to greens. Tee boxes looked like cow field. Daisies in the middle of the fairway. Come on what a joke.
Great staff, well organized, great place of play!
I have played Bond Head North and South Course.
I have always been well taken care of! The staff has always taken great care of us. The staff are friendly and attentive. I have played a couple of tournaments at the course and the food and beverage service have been excellent! Looking forward to our next round!
Great course but rough conditions
The course has a great layout the staff was very good and well trained the pace of play was good but the greens were very rough lots of ball divots so it was like putting in a mine field. I would recommend playing this course on a hot deal.
Not impressed
Played on a mild day at the end of the season (Oct 29) when they had a 1 day special to take advantage of the weather. They clearly had a large turnout and they jammed the tee times to accommodate the demand. Clearly the pace of play suffered - 3 hours to play 9 holes! Brutal!!
Course conditions were not very good at all. I was expecting much better conditions for a course like this as part of ClubLink. Fairways were in rough shape as were the greens. My sense was that this course gets lots of play so conditions suffer. I played the North course last year and it was a much better course and in better condition.
It's a1.5 hour drive for me, so I definitely won't be back to play here - much better courses closer to me (Hamilton/Burlington) than to drive that far for an average course in my opinion.
Bond Head North
Course was in excellent condition. Views from the tee boxes are beautiful and breath-taking. Staff could not be more friendly or helpful. Greens are extremely difficult and will test your putting ability. The only knock on the course is that the tee boxes need more watering. Difficult to put tees in due to hardness of box area.
Lovely Scenery
Very poor signage, no maps to get to the next tee, no arrows on cart paths as there are several left and right turns when you get to the end of a path.
The course is lovely, great scenery but very poorly maintained.
I was disappointed, not worth the high green fee cost in the summer..
Thanks for taking the time to review. I would love to hear any more feedback aside from enhanced course markings for directions - we always to exceed expectations. If there was anything we could do to ensure more enjoyment for your next round, we would love to hear from you.

Hi Bennyhitz. Sorry to hear your round didn't live up to our expectations.
On your next round, please reach out to us so we can ensure you are placed in our 'Play Fast' tee times to avoid any pace of play issues - as I know depending on the golfers of the day and difficulty of the course, it can create a longer round than we like. We will continue to review with our Marshalling team to enhance.
Pace of Play
It was unfortunate that the 4 ball ahead of us basically were oblivious to pace of play: They were extremely slow and made no effort to catch up to the group ahead of them, who were at least 2-3 holes ahead. Leave the sense of entitlement at home, and make an effort to make the day enjoyable for all. Golf etiquette goes a long way!
Hi Thom476842. Thanks for the positive review, we are disappointed to hear the 1 group's slow play lead to a poorer experience than otherwise would have been had. We will review some other tactics to enhance players speed, as the courses are more difficult than some people are use to. Thanks for visiting and hope to see you back again soon.
Hi Carlo1010. Thanks for the 5 star review!
We are glad to know you enjoyed your round with us, we hope to see you back soon.
Always Brutally Slow
I have never played this course in less than 5-6+ hours. They have cut down the fescue over the years to try and speed up play but no luck. Play this course a lot and I’ve only ever seen one marshal on the course. Need to enforce pace of play. The most slowest golf course I’ve ever played. Not sure I’m going back.
Thanks for taking the time to review your round. We highly recommend to try out our 'play fast' times which are available each morning.
We have Marshall coverage in all peak times - but will review with our operations team as we always strive to improve our pace of play. The difficulty of the course is always a main factor, but ask you reach out at playersclub@clublink.ca in advance of your next round so we can ensure we place you on the tee sheet in the most optimal position.
Group was paired with unknown person
Person we where grouped with was being abusive to staff This person wasn’t unknown to us and made our group uncomfortable
Hi jimi83. Thanks for taking the time to review your recent round.
It is disappointing to hear you're paired up group with another golfer that was enjoyable. We do hope to see you back and look forward to a more pleasant group to enjoy.
Perfect Golfing day in October
The Bond Head remains my favourite golf course among others even if they are closer to home. This course remains in perfect condition always. It's worth the fee compared to others courses. Will always play again.
Hi Carlo1010. Thanks for 5 star review!
We are pleased to hear your feedback, and hope you keep making Bond Head your preferred course. We look forward to seeing you back again soon.
Great course
The course was in great shape from tee to greens except for the bunkers. There was little to no sand in almost all of the bunkers I was in and I was in quite a few. I would have rated it higher except for the bunkers.
Thanks for the positive review, and taking the time to share your experience.
We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the course. We will keep our on-going sand addition and hope to ensure a more positive bunker experience on your next round. In the meantime, we hope to see you staying out of the bunkers :)
Hi Intellishadow. Thanks for the positive review.
We hope to see you back for more in golf in 2020!
