Lost about 5 balls on the fairway due to wayyy too many dandelions in the course
Good beginners 9 hole
We were a foursome last group on the course (which was great for us because we had a first timer). The holes on the course are long and straight. Not to difficult course could use a little updating, but with no one behind us we could play as slow as we needed and with 630 tee time was perfect for 9 holes.
Only major negative is the greens need a lot of work.
Poor condition
Overall the course was in very poor shape. Ever loose a ball on the fairway? Yup happened today multiple times. Fairways not mowed, overgrown grass pretty much everywhere. Greens were decent but not great. Missing lots of tee markers and fairway distance markers.
Barely Qualifies as Golf - Brutal Neglect
Let’s put it this way...there were dandelions growing on the putting greens, so you can only imagine how bad the fairways were.
Don't go
Cheap but total wasted of money, crazy line up to play and the course looks abandon. Course conditions are horrible, nothing is well kept. Don't go!
Easily the worst golf course in Canada!
I have no words to describe the deplorable conditions. I thinks it’s a Real shame that Golfnow lists this club.
Awful
This course has a long beautiful layout for a par 9. But the course was in horrid condition and the groundskeeper was mowing the first green while I was putting on it. There was sizeable holes in the fairways dangerous for carts and exposed electrical wires on every hole and staff was very rude will never play here again! Is a shame because layout of course is so good if it had proper management it would be a great 9 hole course
Parkshore to Eyesore
9 holes took 3.5 hours. No Marshall to manage the pace of play. No social distancing protocols lining up at tee-off.
Then there’s the course....nice layout but poorly managed. Played it many years ago. It’s worse now than it was then.
Needs a lot of work
Used to be a hidden gem in the city. Unfortunately, the course seems to have lost the daily care thats necessary to run a course.
great time
Course is in much better condition than the last time I played there. People were cutting the fairways. There were not many people on the course and I found the pace of play was good. The course has 3 each of par 3 , 4, and 5's which were challenging. All in all very good value for the money.
8 and 9th holes under water and unplayable
I wish I took pics of the 8 and 9th holes - completely under water and unplayable. At checking the pro shop did not even mentioned this. I have seen a lot more rain than we got last night and never seen this amount of flooding. They course obviously had an issue and to think they pro show did not say anything about the flooded 8 & 9th holes irresponsible, I feel that I should get a credit for today's round of ONLY 7 holes.
Decent practice course
If you are looking for a local course to practice on and hit a few long balls this course is great. If you go in knowing that this course will not wow you and if your expectations match the price you pay you will not be disappointed. Great to go by yourself and play a couple balls and work on your game. Greens are sandy and slow, fairways need work and I'm not even sure what to say about the hazards, but an overall great value for 9 hole long course.
