About
Whispering Ridge Golf Course is an executive course that was designed to complement its sister course, the nearby Lakeridge Links. Although it does not have the same length the championship Lakeridge Links has, it still offers about the same level of difficulty. The layout offers a different set of challenges, providing a compelling alternative to the other course. Its design is versatile enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. A few water hazards come into play throughout as well as several deep, strategically placed bunkers. The gently rolling terrain provides some undulations in the fairways and greens. The par-3 third hole is one of the most challenging on the golf course with a gulch along the right as well as sand and rough to the left, all waiting to swallow even slightly errant shots. Accuracy is a necessity on this tricky hole.

Nice little track
Nice course for beginners or seniors. Some tough holes but because of the construction work going on around the course, terrible cart paths and poor signage the rate for green fees was too high. Good service from beer cart.
Starts off good.
We found some of the holes in strange places. The course layout really needs to be renumbered and add more hole numbers and sign along the course. If we had not been there before we could have easily got lost. The course was challenging as there is little forgiveness for an errant hook or slice and then finding you ball. I lost more than I usually lose. Playing here you will need to keep your shots as straight as possible. I believe it was the 17 or 18 hole par 4 where you not only could not see the pin, but you had to hook sharply around a couple of trees which even the best would find this one challenging. The greens were the fastest we ever played.
Great course!
Very forgiving and a good layout dispite the construction,
Unfortunately we had a “ fun” group ahead of us and no marshals In sight. It was interesting.
Whispering Ridge First Time
Lot of construction around the course. Not sure if they are intending to upgrade course or put in houses. If the former they can get a pass on overall conditions which are poor
Cart paths and parts of fairways very rough. Several hard pan tee boxes
Far too many trees clutter many of what may he decent views in some holes. Many pines with branches to the ground which is OK if the Wild growth beneath them is cleared. These ate 3 of my balls
Layout is tight and not clearly marked and the many back to back par 3’s mean waiting on every tee
I know it’s a short exec course but played on better tracks at This price range
Disappointing
Pace of play was way too slow and a subdivision is being built in the middle of the course. Was a challenge navigating around it.
Very enjoyable
This is the third time I’ve played Whispering Ridge, and I very much enjoy the course. There is still construction going on, which is the only knock I have on the facility as a whole. But it’s understandable as there are developments being built throughout the area.
Overall the value for this course is perfect and I will continue to play here and bring friends along to try it out.
