Course needs better maintenance.

This was my first time playing this course. Unfortunately the score card, fairway markers, and signs were not very clear, so it was difficult to play shots and to navigate from hole to hole. The course's greatest fault was that it needed to be better groomed. Fairways were not cut short enough and the greens had a lot of ant hills and debris on them from the night before. The rough was very long, so shots needed to be super accurate. Balls hit well were difficult to find in the long fairway grass. This slowed play and led to some frustrating losses of golf balls that were hit in play. I also didn't like that you had to pay cash to get the golfnow.com price. This was not advertised by the course, so I wasn't prepared to pay in cash when I arrived at the pro shop. Unfortunately this was not the experience I had hoped for.

Not a good course

Was very disappointed, greens in horrible shape, fairways unkept, not worth it.

Run down country club

Run down country course with no paths, no distance markers and no signs to the next holes. Difficult to know where yo go from hole to hole.
Extremely badly maintained greens.
Run down entrance .
Will not go back.
It is too bad because it could be a nice course.

Hacker's Paradise

For $25.00 I wasn't expecting Augusta but instead thought it would be a good chance to get out for my first round of the year. Naturally I expected my game to be rusty but the course certainly didn't help.

It started when I arrived to the clubhouse in an old barn. The bathroom door doesn't close and is littered with signs advising of non-potable water. Finding the 1st tee was difficult at best at the cluttered property. It was a beautiful day though so I quickly determined that enjoying the afternoon, getting a tan and having a nice walk was going to be the best part of this dump.

The course seems to have never been mowed, rough is just overgrown laziness and the greens are burned and pitted. There are no yardage markers and finding each hole is as easy as finding your car in a parking garage! The pace of play was very fast. Naturally, this was due to the fact that I was the only one on it.

On a positive note, this would be a great place to take a date or young first time golfer.

Strange course with Poor Conditions

I do not recommend this course to anyone. I am an avid golfer and enjoy many of the courses in the Burlington area. I decided to take a chance on this course due to its proximity to other good courses. This course however, is not maintained at all and it is possible to loose a ball even if you are close to the fairway or have trickled off the green.

Decent value for the money

As a last option or value play Camisle fits the bill. Course conditions are poor (Rough fairways, dead patches on greens) Although for $25 with tax for 18 it was a great value.

OK Course

For the money, will play others instead. Tee boxes were hairy and rough was not well looked after.

If you really wanna play and there is no other course available

Considering that it was the end of December, the course can be considered as in average condition and if you are lucky and the weather is nice you can still enjoy a nice round of golf. If you are not familiar with the course layout, you will have difficulties in locating the green you have to aim for and in finding your way to the next hole. The staff have no clue about customer service and the facility is in pretty bad shape so avoiding the washrooms is a good idea.
