hidden lake new course august 2021
glad to find a tee time at an affordable rate. was paired with 3 gentlemen - another group cancelled so we set off at a good pace - 9 holes in less than 2 hours - back 9 slowed a bit and marshall asked two pairs to join up - good etiquette to comply with request - and allowed last 4 holes to flow better. Round done in under 4 hours! Almost broke 100 (101) from the blues - maybe next time!
Good Round
Bunkers pretty ruff and overall a good test of golf. Worth playing it for sure and staff are excellent
Greens
The greens rolled well but some of the pins were on hills that didn’t make sense…like the par 3 at 12 th hole (I think). This wrecked the hole from most directions. .
It was a great day spent with my son but $230 for a round of golf for two people is ridiculous.
Excellent Course
Everything is wonderful about this course. Very friendly staff and the course was immaculate.

Just ok
My opinion is there is better value for the money they charge else where. Great staff.
Not worth the money.
For paying $100 you expect that the golf carts would at least have rain covers. It seems like hidden Lake gets all the hand-me-down club link equipment. I understand there’s no rakes in the bunker because of Covid but you think the staff could come and rake them once in a while. It’s just not worth the money
Not worth the money being charged
We arrived at our scheduled time and immediately was told that we needed to keep pace. We have not even teed off and already we were being told to hurry up?? Also, they had told us that they would have someone go around with the cart and sell drinks but that was not the case. We finally hit the back 9 and stopped in for a water and the guy told us that they didn't have anyone going around. If we were told this, we would have purchased the waters at the beginning. We literally had stopped in for 2 min and a marshal approached us asking what time we started at because we needed to speed up and keep pace. The people in front of us were still driving the ball. I asked him how we could speed up if they were still on the tee? All he said was "I'm letting everyone know, not just you guys". We then told him how terrible the course was kept and he said its due to covid. They had 39 staff last year taking care of the grounds and now they only have 18. Poor excuse since everything is opened now. We even spoke with some other golfers and they felt the same pressure from the marshals on the course.
