Great track.. but maintenance is not where it should be
Great track... but in need of some tender loving care... where is the maintenance crew.. do they even touch the traps??
Front 9 was a little choppy but the back 9 was much nicer. Good course just needs some up keep on the fairway.
Twilight in high heat at Hidden Lake
The course is in very good shape. It's been very dry so I had to club down at least 12 yards and still managed to get to back of the green. The fairways need some more water but overall the greens and fairways are in good shape. It was a little slow but I was trying to race daylight to get in all 18 holes. Great value at $35 with a cart if you can get the Hot Deal!
Decent course/Not decent pace
Check in was fine.
Course was dry which is fine in this heat but I won’t say it was in great shape. I just can’t, especially paying nearly $100 w/ cart to play it.
What put me off, and the whole game off, was that we started on time with 12 minute spacing between tee times. After 8 minutes, putting on #1, look back and see the next group waiting on their approaches. For the next 17 holes, we are on the tail end of the group ahead of us and have a group right behind us. This is golf on occasion, but to allow hole 1 not to be spaced properly is unacceptable.
Patio at the end wa a great.
Great track
Played old course first tee time of the day, great track. Keep your ball in the fairways and you’ll have no problem here. Course demands some respect but allows you to hit some big drives and the greens all demand accurate shots in. Absolutely would play here again. Walking this course also very doable.
Covid 19 care not ensured
I had a foursome and one of the person bring his caddy/ girlfriend, dont know. She played 4 holes as 5 somes, with music all the time from their phone. Cannot finish the last 2 holes. Dont know how 5 persons were allowed under covid restrictions. Plz ensure compliance, thx.
Very good course and staff
I personally thought the course was beautiful fun to play challenging and the staff was super helpful and super friendly
Nice course
We really enjoyed the Old Course and played with a great couple of guys who played there frequently. Staff were really pleasant and managed the new COVID rules very well.
Rude Marshall
We were having a great round, until the marshall came around. He badgered us multiple times that we needed to pick up the pace because there were fairways in front, when the group behind us had only caught up to us once. It got to the point that he demanded we play best ball, and was following us around throwing balls on the ground in front of us and telling us to take a drop.
Not impressed “Marshall Don”.
Nice but confusing course
This is a beautiful course but unfortunately they do not let you warm up at the driving range and getting to certain holes is very confusing due to a lack of signage (they need to re-paint the directions on the path very badly).
