Indian Wells Golf Club

What a great way to return to golf! The course was in excellent condition and the pace of play was amazing. I got paired up with a great group of guys. Really enjoyed it.

Great course tucked away in the Halton Hills. Beautiful scenery and the course layout is nice. Tee boxes are a little close to previous greens, so watch your approach shots and warn others ahead of you.

The course was a bit dry and tee blocks shaggy but overall enjoyable. Great staff.

The greens were in great condition and the setting in the shadow of the escarpment was stunning. Found a number of holes to be a good level of challenge for an intermediate golfer. Have played the course before and will play again. (Be wary of the mosquitoes at dusk!)

First time playing this course, fantastic value and will definitely be back.

There are a number of blind shots, doglegs, elevation changes, etc, that make it tricky to be aggressive the first time around. This course has a number of interesting strategic choices. After playing the first time our group agreed we all wish we were more aggressive off the tee. The layup often looks easier, but when you arrive you realize the angle is poor into the green, or the hazard you thought would be eliminated is still in play.

On many of the doglegs you can be more aggressive than you think as there are large open areas beyond the bend in the fairway.

Lots of elevation change which makes for a challenging but rewarding walk. The views on the front 9 of the escarpment are amazing. Everyone talks about the 11th tee block and the view - maybe it was a bit hazy but it was honestly underwhelming and not necessarily that different from the entire course which is already so gorgeous.

It was the first day open after COVID so the greens were brutally slow, but I'm sure conditions will be different after a few weeks of being open.

There were several tee blocks that should have been mowed much closer, and I don’t really feel that this is a $90(with cart) course. Apart from that it was in very good condition.

The tee decks had longer grass than the rough on about half the holes.

Made playing an iron off the deck for a par 3 impossible.

Challenging walk, but fun to play.. even on a hot day, pace was good. Good condition.

Good course...not long but you will need every club in your bag

The course has some challenging holes but the test is fair if you play the right tees. We played the blue and there were no holes that were too challenging for our level (11 & 15 handicaps).

The course is in very good shape on fairways and greens. Some of the tee decks, on the other hand, have not been properly mowed yet. Of course, since they were only given 2 days notice by the government that they can open, I completely understand. Great way to spend an evening.

Uncut Tee blocks, Greens were long, bumpy and slow. No preparation for opening. Open and they will come attitude. Sad!

round was good - twosome did not show and marshal let me go by myself - pace was good - threesome ahead was good pace - course greening up - the worst part is I see now golfers like to play loud music - poor etiquette!! - the best part I lost a shirt on the course and pro shop retrieved it for me as some picked it up - what a relief! thanks to the staff for looking after this. hope to play again when the course re-opens - beautiful views of the Niagara escarpment.
