About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

Nice to play
This is a good course for a scapade to go Golfing. It has challenge holes, and a layout that make the game fun.
However, the lack of municipality leadership and the incapacity to create acceptable ideas to solve "problems" or complains is shown on the City of Burlington's decision to change the 18 hole from a 243 yrd par 4 to a only 150 ish yrd par 3 hole.

A challenge every day!
I have been a member for over 20 years. I love this course - always a challenge. It is scenic, especially in the fall. Great staff - always a welcoming atmosphere.
Greens are good, bunkers poor condition, not raked, rough not well maintained, easy to loose a ball in the rough as it sinks down and out of sight.
The league play starts too early restricting the number of early morning tee times. If you don’t get one of the first four times you can’t play until very late morning.

Tyandaga
It’s a nice course, can tell it’s been a while since it’s had any investment into it. Looks like it’s getting better and will be a great short course when improvements have been completed.

Very tough rough , best ball location middle of narrow fairways otherwise a total mess. hole 18th par 5 changed par 3 now , disappointing
Re-design makes course too short
Not worth the money. 4 of 5 holes on back are par 3's.

Tyandaga Hot Deal
Got a great deal for a Saturday with a cart so we booked. The weather was perfect, warm but not humid and little wind. It was a perfect day for golf. My game aside, all worked out well. The course is in good shape likely due to the abundance of rain. This is a challenging course, with the first and second holes being a challenge if you're not accurate. The 17th is also a tough hole requiring accuracy off the tee and approach. Some of these greens also have an escarpment feel with slopes seeming to be the opposite what you would think.
