About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

short but challenging course
short but challenging course. course is still a bit " wet" from the many wet days in April and early May but carts are out.

Good day but wet
It's was a good day on the course with a little rain.. Some of the holes were hard to find and the 18th was under Reno but.I like the course and will be coming back

Tyandaga
The course is well maintained with good quality challenging greens. Carts are not in use on heavy rain days as cart paths need attention. A fun, reasonably priced course close to centre of town.
Good golf course- value for money.
This is a good course with some challenging holes. Play with cart, not walking.
First Round of the year at Tyandaga
This course is a good challenge for the mid-handicapper. The course was in good shape thanks to the amount of rain we have had. The greens were in "spring" condition and aerated, but was ok for the first round of the year. It was still fairly wet at the bottom of the valleys of the affected holes, but the course was still playable. The only disappointment was the pace of play. Yes, it was the first pleasant temperature Sunday of the season, but there were clearly bad instances of bad etiquette by the golfers ahead of us. If I am holding play at any time, I look back and adjust my pace to keep with the group in front. I just didn't see that a few groups ahead of us when we caught up and can see them across fairways. Tyandaga should have a marshal out there speeding groups along politely just in case they're not aware of the backlog they're causing.
