About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

Baked
Hadn’t played here in a few years. Forgot how tight some of the holes are. Bizarre layout and lots of blind tee shots. Hit and pray you’re online. Didn’t help that it was BAKED. Basically no fairways, but greens were in relatively good shape. Fine if you want a place to hack around, Had a good time but many better options around for next time.
Excruciating and alarming
It’s not worth the $35 - no starter, ground was hard dirt covered in a thin carpet of dead grass, brutal pace of play. At one point, 2 old men were just roaming around in carts picking up live balls in play.
Avoid. The city of Burlington should redevelop this land into a mixed use park - not worth keeping this place alive.

Rough
Dry As camels balls...back nine is super narrow and alot of blind shots so needless to say dry and not smooth fairways led to lost balls piped down the middle... frustrating

Good value,but the fairways were so hard making second shots almost impossible,greens were challenging and well maintained
extremely dry, concrete fairways
Have enjoyed playing here but this time it was unbelievably bad. Not even a single fairway had grass on it. all dead and brown. then fairways were like hard backed brick. some of the greens had big patches of dead grass.
The staff were nice and fiendly but course maintenance need to pull up their socks. The rates are exorbitant for the unkept course.

Painfully slow
The greens were in mint condition . Fairways and rough was bad , understandably due to drought conditions everywhere . There are a lot of juniors , elderly , which is great as long as you know ahead of time . One of the holes length basically cut in half from last time I played . Probably a good course to play in spring .

A nice municipal course
Course condition is good in general, greens are good, some fairways might need some maintenance, but it's well deserves the green fee.

quite nice course. a little dry which made for lots of roll. my only concern is that there could be better signage between holes.
