About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

Golfer Reviews
Improved course
The course is in great condition and it provides challenges both on the greens and in the fairways. Lots of variety in types of holes. Pace of play on front nine was very slow. Too many twosomes and singles. Starter had gone home. Porta Potty by 13 th hole was overflowing and needed cleaning.
Sunday morning round
This municipal course offers great value. It is the best deal during the day on a weekend. We were worried about the rain in the forecast but the golf gods gave us a break. Challenging course with some rough holes (especially numbers 2, 17 & 18). The course is in good shape, likely thanks to some recent rain. The greens are a little tricky with some unseen breaks. I would definitely recommend.
VERY SLOW PACE.
backed up waiting on 3rd tee and continued for whole round
Need a marshal on course
Nice for the Price
Been more than 5 years or so since I’d played here but my 2 friends and I had a very good time Early Sunday morning.
Greens are is nice condition but we’re sort of inconsistent in speed. Just made it more challenging…lol
Fairways were a bit dried out, but with the lack of rain we’ve had that was to be expected.
Price on a Sunday morning, with a cart was extremely nice, and both my buddies will play here with me several more times this year.
Very good course considering it’s a municipal course!
Nice surprise
I have passed by many times; stopped in and glad I did. The course is in great condition and challenges without punishing. Great for long ball hitters. Great clubhouse and everyone seems friendly.

Save your money.
The first thing to be noted is that I am an above average golfer and play approximately 2 times a week. I have never previous to this date written a review on any of the golf courses I have ever played.
Only thing good about this track is the greens and the price. 3 of the par 5s are absolutely not reachable in 2 because even a great tee shot has to land in a perfect spot the size of 4 parking spots. Many of the fairways lean aggressively to one side making impossible to hold. Some of the holes have blind tee shots and others have blind approach shots.
The back nine has back to back to back par 3s! The 17th hole a par 5 is so tight and poorly designed that i play it 7 iron, 7 iron and 7 iron again.
I have played this golf course on several occasions because of its location. The pace of play can be extremely slow and to compound the problem there is rarely a Marshall to be seen. It also has no driving range. The honest truth is I’d rather sit on a deck and have some beer and chicken wings than play golf at this place.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Tyandaga Golf Course, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Meh
What to be a expected for a cheap municipality course but the course is tricky score on, back 9 has three par 3 in a row which isn’t fun, also course is like concrete balls will run off fairways into the woods with bad bounces.
