About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

Money grab
Tried to play 18 at Tyandaga on Sunday Apr 24th but truthfully the course should not be open due to poor swamp like conditions. The greens are fine but the fairways are muddy, damp and it's a trek to walk through. They aren't allowing carts out onto the course due to the wet conditions. They aren't allowing people to ride either but are happy to overcharge $10 for a plastic pull cart.
I'll never golf here again.

Great Deal, Early season
found a great deal with coupons/ hot deal etc. course is still very wet this early in the season though so lots of muddy spots. weather looked a lot worse than it was so course was almost empty. Very hilly course as well so a difficult walk with no carts allowed yet. slight walk from 13 to 14, could've used a sign to know I was on the right track. liked the 3 par 3's in a row on the back nine,

Disappointed
Frost delay got us. Round was cancelled

muddy fairway
Due to heavy rain last Friday (4/15), course condition was very bad. Fairway was very muddy (especially #1, #9 and #17) and soft, hard to walk and easily lose balls buried in fairway. The course should have delayed to open.

Good value
I always enjoy playing Tyandaga Golf Course.
The Course is challenging, has a variety of holes and if you should make an errant shot there is usually opportunity to recover.
Looking forward to playing a few rounds of golf next season.
The price is affordable and a very good value.
I was asked about the round played this past Monday which was Monday November 8th, however the Course was closed for the year.
I wish they would have let us know.....
I booked ove golfNow and booked the cart. We arrived, first they menioned there was a delay.... we showed up at 9AM for our 920 Tee time, maybe an email or a call to let us know would have been great. Anyway, we didnt get on until 1050. As i menitoned i booked a Cart, and when we went to pay they told us THEN there are no CARTs. insstead of telling us as we arrived (almost 2 hours prior) that there are no carts, they just stayed quiet. Well, all of the push crts were then taken ( or whatever amount they had). I do not have a carry bag so had to zipti mine to a broken cart. just brutal all around, i likely would have left or resheculed would i have known. They also menitoned they havent used carts on the course for the past 4 weeks. Well why was i able to book one? just bad over all. Gold course wa sa mud bath difficult to even walk. Likely wont play again

Course was closed
Drove to Tyandaga only to find out the course was closed. I received the notification 20 mins before tee off. It would be nice to receive the notification a lot earlier.
Bad day, right from the get go.
Tee time was for 12:50, did not tee off until almost 1:30. Course was very wet and many ball marks on greens not repaired. Extremely slow pace of play, round took over 5 hours to play because of 4some in front having zero etiquette for golf.
I would advise anyone above a basic level of golf to avoid this course (certainly on weekends).
I will not return to play here again.

Still too wet.
Had an early morning tee time. Frost delay held us up for about one hour. Power carts were not available. When we did get out the fairways were not cut. It was very wet about a week ago. They couldn't cut. My lawn at home is also not cut for same reason. Fairway same as rough length, and course "looked" good, but fairway moved underfoot (mud). Very slippery. Pace was slowed greatly by this (and pairing). One hour for the first two holes, and I could not continue. There was no pace / flow and injury risk (knee hyper-extension slip). The staff were great however. A raincheck was issued after the second hole. Greatful for that. There is only so much you can do to prepare and maintain a course when so much water is thrown at you. Cafe was not open until much later, which is why off-course suffers in my rating.

Worst play of the year
Don’t go near after the rain. It was a swamp.
The course don’t have any drainage and it was soaked and muddy.
They should not not even open when the conditions are this bad.
