About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

Lots of Waiting
4 person round with carts, tee off time was 1;40pm on a tuesday afternoon and the round took 5 hours and 45 min. Course layout is very confusing including 3 par 3's in a row. Will not be back to golf here
I've played this course dozens of times over the years.
The greens were always difficult but fast fair and excellent condition, Over the last few years the greens have regressed to difficult because they are "Furry and inconsistent with patches of crab grass and mold on some. Disappointing considering all the downtime this spring. At least the rough was cut!

Tyandaga a Gem
This golf course has a good variety of challenging holes.
From the higher elevations there are some spectacular views if the Niagara escarpment and Hamilton.

Long track
Overall a good place to play some really tight fairways on the back 9 lots of par 4s and 5s some par 4s are super long
Lots of blind spots which for a first time playing there can prove to be tough
I would play there again now I am familiar with the layout

Excellent course and conditions
We ended up playing on the only rain day in about two weeks but the course was still in great shape and taken care of well. Challenging at times but great variety in holes. Will be coming back.

Tyandaga treasure
Tyandaga is a challenging course and is very reasonably priced.
There are some beautiful views of the Niagara Escarpment, Lake Ontario and the city of Hamilton. Have played this course numerous times and always look forward to returning to play again.
