About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

Tyandaga treasure
Tyandaga is a challenging course and is very reasonably priced.
There are some beautiful views of the Niagara Escarpment, Lake Ontario and the city of Hamilton. Have played this course numerous times and always look forward to returning to play again.
Great course
Very challenging course. Found greens difficult to read and very slow. Took us 4.5 hours to complete course on a Sunday morning. We had a foursome ahead of us, but things still moved along well. Golf carts were a little on the slow side and could use an upgrade soon . Staff from entry, club house, Marshall, refreshment cart driver and food prep after 9th hole we’re all amazing. I was very impressed with all the staff. Sausages were really good. Price of beverages and food was a little on the high side. Greens and fairways were a little on the dry side. Overall I was satisfied and would return. Great round of golf.

Online covid screening for all family members
When Golfing It is not necessary to put all players through this CITY online questionnaire. Many are older citizens who are not cell phone savey. Why can’t the front desk individual just ask for names and number of each family or couple? Power cart keys should have a cart number displayed so as to avoid golfers from having to come back to announce what cart they are taking.
Cart paths are in awful condition with potholes and erosion ruts everywhere, gravel and grading required.
Also you tennis courts should not prevent doubles from playing. There are only 4 people in a large open outdoor court. We are trained to stay far apart during play so as not to Leave an open area unattended on the court. Otherwise the opponents will hit the ball to the empty court and win the point.
