About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

Awful staff
Course is enjoyable and we'll maintained. However the staff is absolutely tragic, rude, sour moods all around. We had our bags and coolers searched for alcohol right at the start of the day, we only had water as it was 35 degrees out. The lady searching our bags/cooler didn't follow covid precautions no mask, no gloves when going through our things. She almost forced her way into our stuff. I will not be playing here again, and do not recommend it too anyone. The staff ruined it for me. Disappointed.

Great shape
Course was in great shape. Both carts in our group had issues with the parking brake but we figured it out eventually. Got paired with another 2-some who were fun to play with. Pace of play was just fine - finished in 4hr 15 mins. No muffins at the restaurant - needed some morning carbs, but the coffee was great. Lots of grass and the greens were pure but a little on the slow side, which is ok on some of the holes near the edges.

Service and day
The service was fantastic. A definite step up from The Burlington Golf and Country Club.
They were accommodating and flexible.
Potential
This course has potential. It’s beautiful and challenging.
Down side is that it’s very confusing in terms of layout with little to no direction as to where the next hole is. We literally had to ask people or look at the map on the card to find out what hole was where.
Not sure if it’s a Covid thing but no cart service the entire 18 holes, no water/beer/snacks served along the way. If you need bathrooms or want snacks/drinks you’ll have to wait until you reach the clubhouse after your first 9 holes.
Didn’t notice any ball/club Washing stations along the way either.
The pace was also all over the place with no staff keeping people on pace.
Plus side is it’s a beautiful large course and feasible rates.

Course in Great shape. We really enjoy playing here. Pace was really good , done in 4.5 hrs.

Greens were a little beat up, course was very backed up which made for a very slow game but al in all a good day, any day golfing is better then a day working!
