About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

Poor course conditions
Course is very hilly and difficult but this was compounded by the very poor condition of the fairways. Very dry with non-existent turf in many areas and poorly maintained tee boxes and cart paths. Greens were somewhat better but had uneven roll. Have played at far better municipal courses in Mississauga and Brampton. Only saving grace was that the green fees were not high.

Meh
For the price we paid for the cart and the round, you can’t go wrong. Do go expecting a beautiful course, you get what you pay for. Extremely hill, found it challenging to find balls. But like I said, if you’re looking for a cheap round and a fun time, you can’t go wrong.

Worst golfing experience with the starter
One of the worst golf courses I ever played at, rude staff! The starter is very rude. The starter just trying to show that "i am the starter and i am in control".. the starter is not allowing anyone to tee off, even the tee time is past and woth nobody on the fairway ahead.. the starter simly tell everyone - Onky you hear my word of GO, then you tee off. What a jerk.
The xourse condition is bad too. The cart path is bumpy wothout any maintenance.
Next come back again.

extremely poor maintenance
Half the course was like hard rock. Fairways are not watered and we were hitting balls from middle of fairway and it felt like hard rock.
The greens have dried out with many greens having brown and hard patches. it was like putting on a concrete floor.
I have played this course many times (twice this year earlier) but never saw such worst maintenance. Unless they improve i am not going back to this course. $ 58 including taxes on hot deal is a rip off.

Rough patches of dirt on fairways and greens... Goofy hole layouts.

Hard course! Beautiful views!
The terrain and cart paths were a little rough. The greens were challenging and some of the holes were difficult. The people were great! We had a wonderful time and would recommend (to good golfers). Thanks to the wonderful staff.
