Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

extremely poor maintenance
Half the course was like hard rock. Fairways are not watered and we were hitting balls from middle of fairway and it felt like hard rock.
The greens have dried out with many greens having brown and hard patches. it was like putting on a concrete floor.
I have played this course many times (twice this year earlier) but never saw such worst maintenance. Unless they improve i am not going back to this course. $ 58 including taxes on hot deal is a rip off.
Average at best
Rough patches of dirt on fairways and greens... Goofy hole layouts.

Hard course! Beautiful views!
The terrain and cart paths were a little rough. The greens were challenging and some of the holes were difficult. The people were great! We had a wonderful time and would recommend (to good golfers). Thanks to the wonderful staff.

The greens are under Aeration
Hole no1 to 9 all greens are under Aeration. The pace was very slow, there was a 4 some in front of us playing with n number of balls

Challenging course
Very challenging course for my wife and I this season. They must be struggling this season with revenue and I get it. The greens are the worst I've come across in 2020.

Diamond in the "rough"
Tyandaga is a real gem of a Golf Course. It is a challenging course and is attractively priced.

Keep coming back
We’ve been to this course multiple times this summer and have always dealt with very friendly staff. Pace of play at times has been on the slower side however today was seamless during our twilight round. Course conditions are better than most but not perfect. Putting green is very challenging for a beginner-intermediate golfer. We keep coming back to this course because we always have a great time; the prices can’t be beat either.
Don’t play at Tyandaga Golf
Very poor experience playing at Tyandaga Golf course. Very strange course layout and most of the holes except par 3s have blind tee shots or approach shots. There was no marshal on course to manage speed of play.

Rough Conditions Need Attention
The Tyandaga course is regrettably suffering from low levels of on course attention. With no divot team this year, some tee boxes are rough and shoddy and unpaved cart path areas continue to be extremely bumpy with potholes and exposed roots. With golf being one of the few accessible sports delivered by the City during the pandemic and providing a sensible level of revenue for the City, I'm hoping a greater level of attention will soon be dedicated to the course.

No maintenance
Other than greens being watered, there doesn’t appear to be any trimming of trees or bushes going on and there are a lot on this course. Fairways were patchy and some places just dirt.
