Twin Creeks Golf Course
About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

Hot Day on a great course
All in all a great day. It’s once again HOT in Texas. Might consider adding coolers to the carts for ice and beverages. Would make a BIG difference.
Great Layout, fun yet challenging at times
This course has a great layout with some pretty challenging holes. Some greens had some rough spots and bunkers were in pretty bad shape. Overall a really nice course but not worth $80.
Great Value!
Course is in great shape and the layout is outstanding. Could use some new carts and some work on the cart paths, but I can deal with that for the price.
Nice track fun to olay
If the greens had been freshly mowed and the traps shown some TLC this would be one of my favorites on North side of Dallas Tx.
Getting Better
Course is n pretty good shape. Greens are a bit “ruddy” and slow.
Had beverage cart and a plus.
Only negative…
No carts were available for a morning T-Time, not courtesy transportation from parking to the range and it is a long walk. Saw multiple employee driving carts around while golfers were carrying bags and waiting.
Ladies Tees
This course is great for the money. I just have a few misgivings about it.
1. The fairway grounds were hard, it was like hitting off cement in some spots.
2. The ladies tee box ground was so hard sometimes that I couldn't get my tee in.
This is the first time that this has happened on this course, other then that I love this course!
Great layout, conditions, and pace of play
First time playing, and that’s only because I try to keep my round under $60. This course was definitely worth that green fee. Challenging layout with the tees, fairways, and greens in great shape. The starter had the pace set up great, we weren’t squeezed from behind and we didn’t actually wait on the group in front much at all. Just had a great time, actually shot my low round of the year (84). Definitely be back to try to beat that soon.
Greens and pace of play
Greens were in terrible condition, pace of play on a Saturday with a tee time at 10 am didn’t get us going until 10:30 because of a tournament in front of us so stacking 7 minute tee times isn’t recommended there for a 5.5 hour round. Cart girls took care of us, fairways need grass especially in the rough where it’s hard compacted dirt so paying $80 isn’t worth it. Should be a $30 round at best but it’s the location so they can rob you.
