Twin Creeks Golf Course
About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

First Timer
Shocked at how great the pace of play was for public course and overall conditions were very good even in the heat.
Course map
We had 2 people that it was their first time playing the course. And wish there was a map to look at. Or the layout on the stone next to the tee off area, was easier to read for newer players.
Twin Creeks
Very nice course, well maintained. A little to much water in places from the sprinklers, but overall great time.
Needs upgrade!
Golf carts are rattle traps and barely make it around. No A/C in clubhouse with 100 degree day. Poor irrigation and mowing issues.
Good setup
Twin creeks is a nice layout to get your game game back on track. Not too difficult and you can get away with using 3W around the course if your scared to use your driver like my playing partner. The course sets up well to score and the final 4 holes make for a good finish with water in play. Conditions were average, some tee boxes hard pan and greens were real slow during our round. Enjoyable round overall with a nice pace of play.
Need new carts
The round was enjoyable but the fact that the cart died on hole 7 and we saw others who were having to wait for a replacement cart was a bit of a turn off.
I know they are working on improvements but the need to invest in new carts they don’t need to be gas electric works fine on this course.
Like this course
Greens were in good shape, albeit a little slow. Course was in very good shape considering the lack of rainfall. Good pace of play, especially for a Saturday. All around very enjoyable round. Great value.
Marshals needed!!
It’s normally kinda slow here but 4.5 hours to do 9 is terrible. I watched the group 3 groups in front of us with 4 guys that hit 2 balls each after waiting 5 minutes just to tee off even though the green was clear. Pace of play needs to be enforced!!
6+ hours to play
Recently played the course and ran into a round that took over 6 hours. Course had no marshal to move things along and the staff was not helpful at all.
Course was in okay shape, but at a premium price, I expect to have a much better experience.
No rain checks
On May 17, 2022 I received a rain check from this club for an in completed round of golf. When I went back to the club to complete this round of golf, I was told that the rain check I received was only a credit towards a new round of golf. I did not want to play a new round, I simply wanted to complete the round I had started, CAN'T DO THAT! Taken again by the greedy, unethical, immoral, corporate America. TOO BAD!!
Hot Day on a great course
All in all a great day. It’s once again HOT in Texas. Might consider adding coolers to the carts for ice and beverages. Would make a BIG difference.
