Twin Creeks Golf Course
About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

A Bit Above Average
Play here 1-2x per year. Overall enjoy the layout with a few great holes. Sometimes the greens can be a bit firm and hole locations unfair, but overall a solid course. Had a five'some cut in ahead of us at 9, and they were brutally slow. The worst part of golf is slow players. If you are going to play 5 in a group, play ready golf, putt out short putts, get off the green when done, don't stand and talk on the green when done. Memo to golfers, if you can't hit a fairway off the tee, buy a players program membership and spend more time at the range. Also, learn about the etiquette of golf. It just takes one group to spoil everyone else's experience.
Twin Creeks
The course overall is in fair shape. The greens are getting better every week as are the tee boxes. There are some dead areas in the fairways, but that can be easily fixed. One suggestion would be to update the carts, most are pretty banged up. No pace of play issues today, will definitely play here again.
Poor of play, poor fairways
Hitting off patches of grass and dirt in the fairways. Greens were nice, but not well maintained. No consistency, speed, or ability to stop the ball on the greens. Pace of play was atrocious. We waited over 20 minutes to play one hole and the whole front 9 was like that. Started raining so we asked for a rain check. Overall, it’s not worth the $100 for 2 people. I’d rather spend it at a course that’s better maintained.
The staff is incredibly polite though. No complaints there
Windy day
Enjoyed the course a lot, carts are dumpy, our partners had to have a new one brought out on hole #10 (starter hole) which was stressful for them and time consuming. Cart paths are often a shamble.
Fun Day in the Wind
Crazy wind but still had fun on Masters Friday. Greens are in good shape by comparison to a lot of local courses. Some bare spots in fairways but this one looks like it will be very nice late spring early summer time.
Good price
This was my first time playing here. The course was well priced and fun. We had the first tee time of the day, so no delays on any hole for us. Pretty easy course compared to others in the area.
A bit rundown but still early in the season.
Short on carts, not all tee boxes are available, course needs some TLC, bridges need repairing.
Greens are pretty good!
Will try again in another month.
