Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

I played after rain. Even so, ball ran excessively. It was difficult to predict where my ball would stop. I feel the price is too high for the quality of the course.

Lack of carts was an issue. Pace was average with some waiting til the 16th par three . There was a backup of 3 groups waiting for the tee box. We had to skip holes 16 & 17 due to wait time.
