About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

Mixed feelings
First, carts are in terrible condition. I felt like the Clampetts. Every time we started the cart would lurch and backfire. You can do better than this in Allen, TX.. The course itself has a nice layout but the condition is rough. The greens were in good shape and you can tell they have worked on them. The scenery around the course is beautiful and with the right management this could be a beautiful course. Loved hole 7 and 17! Staff was very nice and gracious hosts.
Great course
Good condition green !!
Golf
All was good except there was no Marshall so play was slow! The group in front of us played Army golf left right,
left, right. We had to wait every whole even though the group in front of them was a hole ahead!
Good course terrible pace of play
We played as a twosome with 2 four person groups in front of us, both of which were extremely slow and would not let us play through, we ended up skipping holes just to try to finish. No Marshall around to help move things along. The course is nice and the staff at the pro shop is always friendly.
Course & pace of play was good. Even had cart girl on course during the week.
Twin Creeks
Fairways were not great. Tee box ground very hard. Pace of play was good but course. Needs attention. Club house shelves were empty .
Bad Timing
I think that this course is very pretty and in a beautiful residential neighborhood. However, today, the greens were seeded and sanded, so they were awful. Greens are very challenging without the sand, undulating and difficult to hold.
Great course
Overall it was a great course - did not try any off course amenities so did not rate that.
4 groups on 10th tee
We gave up! 3 groups on the tee. After 15 minutes and still waiting to tee off; we decided to play only 9 holes.
