Twin Creeks Golf Course
About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

Labor Day round
Played the course today with my son. We were by ourselves for the entire round. A little slow on the front nine as foursomes were backed up a little. Apparently some people left at the turn as when we came around, there was no one in front of us and we were able to really pick up the pace. Greens are in really good shape as are fairways an rough Overall, a really nice day and round.
Closed back nine
Hopefully notified to all of customers what happen in course specially under major construction or shot down during a construction.
Short course, super patchy fairways.
Short course. I played on a hot day, so not very crowded.
16 and 17 are the only challenging holes.
Be prepared to move your ball in the fairway to find anything that is covered in playable grass; almost every one has bare spots or rock-hard minimum turf.
It's super inexpensive, so you get what you pay for in this case.
Twin Creeks
Overall the course is in good shape. It's a good layout with some interesting holes throughout. The greens are in great summer shape. The pace of play was a bit slow for a Monday, took about 4 1/2 hours to get a round in.
Much better than it used to be....
They have mad the course much better than when I played here several years ago. Greens in good shape, sand a little iffy, on bad, clean up the tee boxes. Rumor has it they are about to put some money into the course and also get electric carts....Like it here, it works....
Bring your A game
Nice course layout. Contour to many fairways and greens. Hazards to avoid and more or less links style course. Not a grip and rip kinda place, you need to have a well rounded game. Pace could’ve been quicker, but it was a nice place.
Great time but slow going
The course was good and we had a good time but sticking a 2 ball in between 4 balls really made pace of play slow.
Good to average.
The course was not in very good shape. The greens were a bit hairy and fast. Some areas of the course were dry and hard so it was hard to take good divots. The pace was great, we teed off at 6:54am and we’re done by 10:15. I would play it again.
They need to hire a turf grass expert
Bermuda fairways and greens healthy, but lots of weeds. No one rakes bunkers. It is a good layout. Greens were solid. So still a reasonable test of golf. But it could be so much better.
Needs some TLC
Played TC today, about 1-1/2 weeks after aerification according to the starter. The greens were still a little bumpy but generally in better shape than some other courses around town. My only couple of disappointments with Twin Creeks are: 1) Put just a reasonable amount of effort into maintaining the tee boxes (most tee boxes either had excessive weeds that should be easy to remove, excessive bare spots that could be addressed by just reseeding and watering, general shagginess -- just need to be mowed better, or tons of broken tees all over the box that could only build up after a couple weeks -- this just confirms that nobody from Maintenance is even stepping foot on the tee boxes, or these would be swept up); 2) several apparent broken sprinklers around the course that lead to excessive flooding of areas and major mud holes; 3) total absence of marshaling -- some persuasion is needed to prevent slow groups from backing up multiple groups on a stifling hot day. GENERAL COMMENT: With the amazing number of beautiful homes all around this course, I just can't believe that Arcis doesn't choose to feature Twin Creeks GC as one of its premiere courses and attract some of the local residents
Twin creeks is fine
Not crowded bc it’s hot as hockey sticks. There keeping everything green and improved the bunkers w sand. 16, 17,18 are still tough to finish.
