Twin Creeks Golf Course
About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

Great Value
Course is having work done on it but it is an excellent track. The layout is great and conditions have improved on the course which keeps it fun.
Course is in rough shape
Not very good. Greens are bumpy, sand traps tore up. No marshall to move pace.
Recommended
Love playing this course. It's a slight drive (no pun) for me but well worthwhile.
Bunkers need lots of repair work and sand. Bridge 8 to 9 still out a little inconvenient starting on 9
This Course...Of Course
This was my second time playing this course and I look forward to returning. I was going solo until I caught up with members David and Greg who were gracious in asking that I join them. It was so much fun as we all played fairly well. The course offers many challenging and rewarding shots. The course played well and the staff was very obliging. Today was a very good day. Thanks David and Greg for allowing me to join you.
Hard pan course!
The entire course is like playing on hard pan. Greens put ok. Bunkers are all a mess. Need new sand. We dropped out of all bunkers. Maybe it’s nice in the summer, but is s mess right now. Will not go back.
Poor conditions
Fairways were practically hardpan with scraps of grass. Tee boxes were littered with broken tees. Bunkers were all under repair. The greens were the best part of the round. They rolled true but just right on speed. The design was unique but refreshing. Even given winter conditions, this is the worst course conditions I’ve played on this season.
Saturday morning
Great pace of play and fun course. No starter but had to start on hole 9 due to Mother Nature whipping out a bridge and heavy fog first couple of holes but a great golf course that is fun an challenging
Twin Creeks December Review
Green were good, fast and roiled true. Sand traps were in bad condition and more like hard pan.. other than the traps it a fun course.
Lots of bunkers, fun course
Most greens protected by bunkers. Fun to play. Greens in good shape for December. Nice people working here. Good snack bar. Water hazard holes require pretty precise shots to eliminate trouble
Great course, good condition
Greens were in great shape. Interesting course, all in good shape, excellent pace of play. Good practice area. Will definitely go back. Had to start on #9 due to the #8 bridge being washed out from earlier flooding, but not a big problem, still got to play all 18 holes.
Tough Greens but not bad for november in Texas
Got through a Saturday afternoon round during a holiday weekend in under 5 hours. No marshall seen on the course and the group ahead of us was a fivesome but the pace could have been worse.
Biggest complaint was hard/lumpy greens made putting extremely frustrating as ball would not roll true. Overall not a bad experience but not worth recommending at current condition
Poor pace of play
I generally enjoy this course, but today the pace of play was horrible. Tee off at 11:37, finish at 5pm. They had a 5some in front of us. Course was jam packed all day. No marshal in sight. Don't understand paying $50/round and they have the ability to provide drink service every 4 holes but can't send a marshal out to keep the pace of play appropriate.
There's A Great Course in There
Twin has gone down hill since its hey day but it is still a fun track and golf. Conditions are rough around the edges but greens and fairways are decent enough to enjoy a round.
Course was in pretty good shape. Bridge washed put between hole 8 & hole 9.
