Twin Creeks Golf Course
About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

Fix the small things
90 degrees, weekend play, and water jugs where empty @ 3pm, even some ball washers., oh and the carts brake hold did not work.
Love the course- only able to play 12 holes in 4 hours
A marshall was definitely needed yesterday as we teed off at 2:37- for some reason we had to tee off on the 9th hole and finish on 8 (if we would've been able to finish). It was backed up from the very beginning, so we had to wait at the 9th green for the group 2 groups ahead to finish the hole. Drive against the group in front of us after they teed off, and then feel rushed as there were 2 groups behind us waiting there with us. Driving range was closed due to the rain Saturday but that's part of golf. I love the layout of this course and it's in solid condition, but for it to take 4 hours to play 12 holes was beyond me. Come to find out there was a fivesome walking 3-4 groups ahead. Pretty much everybody decided to call it a day early at some point, so we finally did the same after #2. Hadn't played here in over a year because it's hard to justify the normal cost, so we finally got a deal online and now I know why they had a reduced price that day.
Need a marshall
I had a good round altogether. The course is in good shape. But we were stuck behind a sixsome(!) that had no intention of letting us through and no marshall.
You get what You pay for
Course was in horrible shape, bunkers not raked in weeks, used and broken tees on the tee boxes from moths of play, newly sodded grass dead or dying in almost every new area that it was planted, weeds not cut, grass left to run wherever it wanted to and not trimmed.
This is a weekend beer guzzling hackers course, not a course meant for someone who wants to have a round of golf on a nice course and play to their best ability.
It looks like its on its way out and they are just trying to make as much money as they can before it goes under.
Pace of play was extremely slow. Always go on as a "Single". Can never get a cart for myself, nor when I first arrive at the course. Guess the are short on carts.
Overbooked
Been playing this course for at least 10 years and playing last Saturday was the worst experience ever here. The round was almost six hours because the management grossly overbooked the course and to compound the problem failed to adequately pair up the golfers leaving threesomes and twosomes. behind foursomes. And to top it off the starter was rude and disconnected.
Slow play overshadows nice course layout
Our tee time was 12:44pm, eventually teed off 1pm. Finished 6 holes in 2 hours. Pace eventually picked up. Finished at 5:50pm. Food was good. No cart girl. Nice course layout, in decent shape.
Pace of play
Course is good but took 1.5 hours to play 4 holes. You gotta get that under control.
Golf now over charged
I modified my reservation for. 4 to 2 players a week prior golf now still charged for 4 players I’ll call tomorrow Md see if I can get refunded
Needs attention
This golf course needs some much needed TLC on the details of the course. This used to be the greenest courses in the area. The par 3 tee boxes have poorly maintained. The fairways were in decent condition but the run up to the greens look like they've been washed and are dirt. The greens needed water badly. The price we paid wasn't warranted for how poorly the course was in. With the current shape of the course, $35 will be in more line to charge. Also for safety reasons, there needed to be two rangers coordinating the start of the rounds.
Horrible course
Worst golf experience I have had to date!!! As a single player it took 2.5 hours to finish 4 holes. Absolutely no one out here regulating the pace. I believe there was a birthday party ahead of us, which is fine, but it would have been nice to be informed of this when booking our time. Unfortunately had to end our game early as we had a not so pleasant encounter with some gentlemen who would not allow us to skip a few holes. As we pulled up to drop our cart off the very nice gentlemen who were originally in front of us pulled up as well....having to end their game early and forfeit their hard earned dollars. Needless to say, very disappointed and will NEVER be going back.
Good course that needs TLC.
Greens are firm.
Bunkers have new sand but need to be groomed.
85 degree day but no cart girl after 330pm
Bridge still out after #8 so starting on #9 will be going on for a while .
Million dollar homes line the front 9 but the course is not in the same league.
Love the layout and will be back just wish the owners eould invest a little more time and money into the daily upkeep.
Great Value
Course is having work done on it but it is an excellent track. The layout is great and conditions have improved on the course which keeps it fun.
