Twin Creeks Golf Course
About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

Skip this place!!!!
The cart and bar staff are great but everything else is just awful!! Course is in poor condition, especially the greens. The worst part, is they routinely allow groups larger than 4 to go out. That is just asinine and any club pro and GM that has any business sense would know that is just unacceptable. Rounds on the weekends take usually 5-5.5+ hours. Never coming back!!!!
Great course, but greens aren't back yet
Very nice course with excellent features. The fairways are in good shape, but the greens are not back yet from winter. The back 9 greens were not very good, but the front 9 were better. I'll definitely be back to play this enjoyable course.
I have played this corse multiple times before. Every time I play this course it is about a five hour round. From the start it was a wait at every hole. I think they over book tee times
Slow pace
This was the first time I've played this course and I found it to be an easy wide open lay out. The greens were very fast but bumpy due to aeration. It took 5 hrs 15 min to play the round. Had to wait on every shot and this was on a Thursday. I would go back and play again. I would like to see what the course looks like after the rough grows and the greens are smooth. With the exception of having to wait on every shot, I did enjoy the round.
Ok round
Some fairways are dormant and hard. Some of the greens are pretty rough but I think they were fertilized. Good course for the price
Great improvements
The new management has done a great job getting this course back to playing condition. The greens are is excellent shape and all the bunkers are now very playable. Also the new greens fees make this a great value for the area
Challenging, fun course, but pace of play was awful
Took over 5 hours to play a full round and it wasn't until after 13 holes in that a marshall showed up and told us there were 4 kids and 3 dads holding everyone up.
Course was challenging, but not impossible. Early in the season, so greens were unpredictable - some very difficult pin positions on some slope-y greens. Played on a hot day in early spring, which kind of wore on me because of the long round. Hard to establish a rhythm because of the pace. I'll definitely come back, but I'll consider coming early in the morning or on a weekday instead.
Greens were just sanded
Nice course and layout but greens were just sanded so give it a few days before they come back.
Overpriced and bad condition
The greens were terrible!
This course is overpriced and always in bad condition.
Great course, slow unhurried staff
The course was in fair to good condition for this time of year.
The staff was unhurried in all aspects. 20 mim to receive a hambuurger at the turn???
The Waiting Game !!!
We enjoyed our round except for the Waiting . The pace of play was not good . The course was in pretty good shape . I think some of the problem was that they had the blue tees back with the gold tees . I think the course should be a little shorter on weekends and the pace would speed up . I enjoyed the the complementary beer and hot dog that came with the Golf Now booking . I will be back . Thanks
Way over booked. Tee off at 1:50 and only got in 14 holes. They allow 5 to play. Very disappointed in the pace. Would never play this course on the weekend
5 1/2 hour round
They were 30 minutes delayed by 9:30am on a Saturday. The started acted like this was normal. Then it was a 5 hour round of golf. Terrible management of the play
Good greens
Greens are in good shape, lot of break, as usual. Rest of course in typical late winter condition, plus course was very wet from recent rains. Fairway lies are mostly poor.
Winter play conditions excellent
New to Texas and came from upstate NY so gold in winter was a treat. Course was in great condition due to climate and greens were much better than I would've expected. Will play again.
