About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

Great greens
The greens at Twin Creeks were some of the best I’ve seen, even at private courses.

Pin positions
The pin position setup was horrible. 18/18 pins were on side hill or downhill. Most of the pins were also a 2 paces off the edge of a crowned green.

Nice course
First time playing here after seeing many social media videos of the course. Overall, golf experience was good. I would come back but probably not a weekend when there is nearing $100. It just feels a bit high to me. But certainly nice gone views on much of the course.

Fun course.
Pace of play was initially slow but the Marshall resolved the issue by the 7th hole. Hallengimg back 9 but I'll be back.

Someone made the hole cutter mad…
I have seen this course on Good Good videos and was in town for business so thought I would give it a try. The course is actually pretty good and somewhat easy to play but every hole was cut a couple of feet from an edge and on a slope. So the score didn’t reflect the level of the course but the hardness of the hole placement. All in all this was a good course and it was fun to play the course that I had seen so many times on video.

I have been playing this course for over a decade. The new owners have made tremendous strides to improve the course, amenities and the overall experience. I will definitely play it again for the value.
