Banty's Roost Golf and Country Club - Blue/Red

I was surprised to see 3 groups ahead of us when arriving to the first tee at our scheduled time. Staff members informed us that they had accidentally double booked every tee time and informed us that they would ring the bell at 8:30pm despite sunset around 9pm.

I requested a raincheck after completing the front nine in 3 hours and 10 minutes before 8:30 only to be turned away. Sprinklers turned on at 8:10pm on the 10th hole making it impossible to continue play. The quality of this course has gone downhill over the last two years and I will never be playing here again.

Played in the rain all day on Sunday. Decent layout. Good value for the money. Will play here again!

The fairways and the greens were quite nice and well kept on almost every hole. I really enjoyed this course for not only the course conditions but all the course length and that there were not too many steep hills. I highly recommend it.

It was a windy day however.

Played this course many times, course was in great shape. Nice job by the grounds team starter was very positive overall good day

Bunkers had not been raked since the last rain. They were hard packed and unplayable. Morning maintenance on the bunkers is required

Enjoy playing this course as it's near my house but every time there seems to be a pace of play issue. 4H 45M to play 18 holes this time. Don't know what it is but this course just seems conducive to slow play.

I have been to this course. It has improved, but still needs more improvent

There were two young employees at this club with hundreds of people trying to play golf. No starter, no marshall(s), just a complete free for all. It was supposed to be cart path only, but no one cares or listened just destroying the course. People picking up all the golf balls they could find not even giving you a chance to look for it if it enters a tree line. Just insanely mismanaged. What a shame.

They overbooked the course horribly and it took us 1.5 hours to tee off. almost 4 hours to finish 9 holes...... And they didn't refund us for the back 9 after we refused to keep playing.

Conditions as expected for this time of year. Play was very slow with 3 groups on every hole. No power carts allowed, a jammed schedule and no starter. All good though , nice to get out.

Tee times 8 minutes apart for a public course is a terrible decision. Three groups waiting on the first tee and waiting 5 minutes on each shot is painful. Won’t be back to play through that again.
