Banty's Roost Golf and Country Club - Blue/White

Course was in terrible shape. Tee boxes were scalped and in rough condition. Bunkers in need of a good weeding and overgrown. Way overpriced for what your getting in return.

The greens are torn up and everything is horrible. They need to water the grass.

Fun course to play a round with friends that don't take the game seriously.

Although I enjoy the atmosphere surrounding the patio and clubhouse as it has a bar with bbq to relax afterwards, everything else wasn't impressive. Not only have prices went up (because of Covid) which I understand, the quality of the course itself went down.

There were stretches of fairway and some tee blocks that were not mowed and some greens were cut shorter than others leaving greens hard to read the speed. Driving range is a decent amount of space, however I have not idea of the ball quality. Renovations to the clubhouse are needed as well. 80$ inc half a cart isn't exactly the best deal for what you get. Clubhouse needs a renovation and should these issues get addressed, it could be very fun place to play.

Never seen this course in such bad shape.

Maintenance. Super slow green, furry, patcher burnt out. Teen boxes not cut and , no watering.

I wish I read the reviews before wasting my money.

This place should not be open, the conditions are that bad. Worst conditions I have ever played, not exaggerating.

I wouldn't play this course even if they halved the cost. In fact, I'm never playing here again, no matter the price.

Does golfnow have an exclusion feature? Need to find out, no course has ever made me want to do that before.

They have cur the grass so it is not as bad as previous reviews. Bit considering we paid $70 with a cart, you would expect they would water the course. This course has a nice layout but the new ownership is not showing it any love. Disappointing and won't play again.

I've never played on fairways with grass as tall as it was. We couldn't see balls that we hit in the fairway. I've seen rough at other moderate golf courses that were in shorter and in much better shape. The greens were burnt, bare and bumpy in many areas.

Terrible terrible shape. I will NOT be playing this course again this year unless I hear from a trusted source that it greatly improved.

For the same $$, drive another 30 minutes north to Nottawasaga or Harbourview.

Showed up and no reservation? Was told only 1 cart allowed? Why is this not published? Will not book through Golfnow again.

I believe over the past couple years there has been a change in Management. For a minimum of 50$ a round with no cart, in my opinion it is not worth it. The course seems to be neglected and not properly maintained. Tee blocks are not cut, fairways are patchy and in some areas could be considered rough. Worst of all are the greens. Ant hills, dead grass, there is not one green in where the ball rolls smoothly.

Overall, if the course was 30$ a round it would be whatever but at 50-80$ a round, this course should be avoided if you truly care about your golf game.

Carts needed repair, had to change one first given. Greens for the most part were in terrible shape.
